5 out of 5 eggsGreat PSU

Pros: Purchased this PSU at least 5 years ago, and ran it through multiple builds. Preformed like a champ everytime. Great modular set-up and straight-forward design.

Cons: It finally started to fail after 5+ plus years of heavy use. Not a real con since I feel like I got my money's worth for this PSU.

2 out of 5 eggsThe first PS I've owned that's blown up

Pros: Cable system is clean and easy to organize. 1000W is great to have for multiple graphics cards.

Cons: Blew up in a spectacular way. I'm just glad it happened while I was in the office - I have no idea if there's a chance it could have caught on fire or not.

It literally went out with a BANG. I was in the room when it exploded and immediately pulled the power cord. It filled the room with the smell of burning plastic.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: awesome looking. loved the sleeved cables. works perfect. I'm running a sabertooth mono with a 8320 fx processor oc'd to just 4.1. a xfx 2gb double dissapaton r9 graphics card. a cooler master v8 CPU cooler. 24gb of gskill sniper series ram and there's no stress on the power supply at all. going to put another graphics card and crossfire it and see how she holds up

Cons: wish the 24 pin and 8 pin connectors were longer. perfect for a mid case but a little pain for a full case with the 8 pin being the shortest

4 out of 5 eggsGreat, but longevity may be an issue

Pros: Love the modular design, blue LED matched case nicely, lots of power.

Cons: First one died on me just before one year warrantee, Kingwin replaed with a new one, which was cool. Second one lasted about 3 more years, and "half" died. Only Main connector & 2 or 3 of the 8 ports would work, so it would boot, but some components would not work. I have bought a new PSU, just awaiting the new one to arrive.

Other Thoughts: I bought to use on my current PC built in 2008. A few upgrades along the way, but the main components have lasted the 5 years well, except the PSU. Running an AMD Phenom 2 X4 Black Quad core w/ 8GB RAM, GTX 260 video card. Have 2 SSD's running my OS's (Recently installed a Samsung 840 Pro which is blazing fast), and a 1TB WD Black HDD for storage. 1000W was bigger than I need, but at the time I didn't have a server, so was running 5 HHD's and some other cards and such, so wanted to make sure I had enough. Wanted room for SLI also, just never got there.

5 out of 5 eggsOutstanding!

Pros: This is the most well built Power Supply I have ever owned or seen in a computer! The craftsmanship is amazing. I have never seen a power supply mix artwork with utility before. The plugs allow you to minimize cord clutter and ultimately clean up your case. This is a MUST for any computer enthusiasts.

Cons: None

1 out of 5 eggsBeware

Pros: Nice Looking, eay to install.

Cons: Very short life span. Price, Will never receive rebates offered.

Other Thoughts: I have had a couple Kingwin Power supplys and they dont last that long. My last one lasted about as long as the warrenty and I could not get it replaced. Kingwin also offers rebates on some of there products but you will never get the rebate. They use a bad company to service there rebates. Dont make your judgement based on the rebate. Maybe pick a diffrent brand.

3 out of 5 eggsKingWin support

Pros: The supply worked seem-less out of the box, and it worked well for about a year and a half. Nice LED and nice long cables to reach inside my BTX case which also pushed a pretty decent system.

Cons: As I read the reviews for this power supply, unlike other brands, I do not see any apologies, nor do I see any responses whatsoever from KingsWin. This makes the companies customer service look poor and unprofessional. I am going with the Rosewell this time, simply because of that. This is why I also gave a 3 egg review which should really be a 1 egg.

Other Thoughts: Despite the seemingly poor attention to customers who are angry with their product. I personally feel I got my moneys worth from this power supply.

5 out of 5 eggsA+++

Pros: Bought this unit on 8/6/09 and its been in use almost 24/7/365 since powering an I7 920 OC, with 6gb Corsair ddr3, 2xGTX260's.. Then was changed to 2xGTX560ti's with a velociraptor and ssd drive a buncha fans in a CM HAFX case. Not a single hiccup from then till now 9/9/13 Kingwin impressed me

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: So impressed by this PSU I am about to grab another for my new build..

5 out of 5 eggsHaters will be Haters!

Pros: I have the 1220 Watt Mach 1 in my rig, my sons rigs (that's 2 more) and the 1000 Watt in the Inlaws rig. My rig has been on 24/7 for over 5 years with only occasional shut down for storms. Never a hiccup out of any of them. Wonderful product, love the Mil-Spec connectors! Had 2 HD4870's on one for 4 years, now HD7870s.

Cons: I find most reasons for bad reviews are ignorance or something that was not the parts fault, like people who don't know to buy a PSU tester for a few bucks, DUH! You will have duds, it's expected, so spend a few dollars to buy a tester. Also people who just plug it in flip the switch instead of giving it a minute to charge the caps, turn on the PSU, then turn the computer on after a few minutes. Also I had as I stated dual HD4870's now HD7870's and never had an issue with the PSU affecting the GPU's.

Other Thoughts: I LOVE THESE PSU's!

1 out of 5 eggsdied after 3 y. 7m.

Pros: nice and as advertized when it is working

Cons: died after 3 y. 7m. in a very stinky way :) Has always lived behind a surge / power conditioner. My conclusion: must buy better brands ...
