Hiper-power your system with the 4M880. This 880W PSU delivers the power you need for both the CPU and video subsystem. It comes with both P4 and P8 power connectors and is SLI certified up to dual GeForce 8800 Ultras. Compliance with ATX 12V v2.2 and EPS 12V v2.91 specifications means that this unit will serve you well now and into the future.

Active PFC and 85% efficiency help to ensure clean, stable power. The four +12V rails balance the power load. Two of the rails are 18A and the other two are 30A so you know they can handle your system's needs. The high power efficiency plus the mesh case and large fan mean that the PSU puts out less than 20dB under normal load.

To help keep your cabling clean so you don't have a bunch of extra connectors hanging around useless Hiper developed the Extender system. The floppy, and some of the Molex connectors are on removable sub cables. All the cabling is tightly wrapped for easy cable management.

5 out of 5 eggsSo far Great

Pros: working great - had it running now a little over month powering my system: asus m3a79-t, amd 5400+ BE (oc to 3.1), 2x sapphire 4850, samsung and LG DVD/cd players, 2x western digital 250 gb HD's (raid 0) plus the pump for the water cooling system

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: No problem with reccomending this power supply

5 out of 5 eggsGreat PSU

Pros: Stability
Cable Wrapping

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: For the price and voltage stability, I'm very satisfied. It's great build quality implies it'll hold up over the long run.

4 out of 5 eggsIt works.

Pros: It works, it powers a very low end system like it was nothing.
P4 3.0GHz OC'd to 4.0
3GB of DDR2 667 RAM
ATi X1550 D2L 512MB GPU
2 Optical Drives
2 SATA 3.0GB/s HDD's
6 Case Fans

All without a hitch.
Like I said, this system is outdated so I really would have been almost disturbed if it had any trouble powering it.
Amazing for the price.
Buy it, buy it now.
Could EASILY power a more modern machine

Pre-wrapped cords

Tons of adapters and extensions

Came with stickers.

Cons: The wires are quite stiff at first, making cable management almost impossible until they are "broken in".
Fan is relatively slow, but this is common in power supply fans. Will be replacing it with a custom high CFM fan soon to bring down the temps as much as possible.
Odd plug layout.
Instead of two molex's on one plug, there is one, and you have to use an adapter to get the second one (for optical or hard drives or whatever). This could be a pro for some (less cables), but it was an extra step i didn't feel was necessary for my situation.

Other Thoughts: What else is there to say?
It hasn't caught on fire yet.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing Power Supply

Pros: As of now it will fire up any system out there right now, so basically awesome.

Cons: A lot of cords, how ever shouldn't be a problem when I get a bigger case and I guess it is good to have a few extra then not enough.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome. Quiet, and cool

Pros: The voltage numbers are spot on. SLI Works great. And you can't hear, it is absolutely quiet. Don't know how they did it, but it is quiet, it is cool. It is by far the best PSU I've tried. And the 880W is great. I like the cabling system too, it has the wires spread along the base, so you can create a very clean setup. The extenders and splitters are a "take or leave" type of thing, but I like the clean look overall. And I love the quiet. In a water cooled system you can notice the if the PSU is making noise, and this one is very quiet.

Cons: None, maybe the extenders and splitters...if I had to be picky. But I can't say other PSUs did that better...

Other Thoughts: HIPER great job. Never heard of them before, but now I know. These guys build quality.

5 out of 5 eggsThe Dual SLI PSU for a budget system

Pros: Look no further for the BEST budget PSU for a dual SLI system. Hands down the best bang for your buck. My system is as stable as can be, and this unit really is extremely quite, I can hear the other case fans over the PSU fan. Plus my system runs around 1 degree C cooler than before. I would HIGHLY recommend this PSU for the budget build DUAL SLI system. It's SLI ready, so there's no need to worry about strapping or otherwise modding the PSU. The output cables are extra long, making it easier to run them in hidden locations, which means a cleaner looking install.

Cons: A bit larger than most other PSUs I've seen, the extra long cables can be a minor issue if you end up not using them all, hiding the extras can be a little cumbersome. After 2 hours of finagling, I manged to get a VERY clean install into a mini tower with one one VERY SLIGHT mod to the case, hiding the extra cables and lengths on the right hand side of the tray cage.

Other Thoughts: If you got the extra $70+ dollars to buy a cable management PSU (Newegg prices), go for it, however the only benefit would be the fewer cables in the case(cleaner install) but not by very much. I'd put this up against ANY other PSU in its wattage range for performance tests. It's cheaper than the rest and it REALLY works.

5 out of 5 eggsgreat brand!

Pros: Solid. Never failed. Long Cables. Lots of Connections.

Cons: Didn't make me breakfast.

Other Thoughts: My most recent personal computer build has been a nightmare from step one. Went through 2 Asus Motherboards, 1 MSI board, and finally got a working Gigabyte a fwe hundred dollars later. I was one of the unlucky ones who jumped on the phenom band-wagon too early, getting a faulty CPU. I'm just about to replace my mobo, cpu, and ram. I have never had any problems with this power supply not giving my components enough juice to get the job done. I have built myself a new computer each year for the past 4 or 5 year and i've had problems with power supplies. Buy this, don't look back, and keep your system ready for all the components your mobo can handle.

5 out of 5 eggsEats things

Pros: Running 2 GX2s for quad SLI, quad core 9950 140w CPU, 4 gigs of ram, and it doesnt even hiccup. For this price and this power, buy it now. 2nd Hiper power supply ive had in a year and they have both been rock solid.

Cons: Absolutely none.

Other Thoughts: If you want to run a high end gaming rig with enough power for a very good price, this is the PS for you.
