Pros: MCC discs. Works well in inkjet printers.

Cons: Surface is rough. A glossy option would have been nice.

Cons: I bought 2-50 packs. I am almost finished with the first pack and would say about 1/3 to 1/2 were coasters. Won't buy again.

Cons: -took experimenting to figure out print diameter area w/ hub, would be nice if included in specs- 119mm x 21mm is what I found when researching Verbatim, however, my software would only allow 118mm x 21mm and it printed perfectly with a slight outer area white strip. Hub was perfect.

Other Thoughts: This was my first purchase of white printable dvd's. I was not sure what to expect and will limit comments to this aspect as previous reviews speak to the reliability and quality of this Verbatim DVD+R. Printing is clear. The print does require a few minutes of dry time otherwise it will smudge. Once completely dry, I can rub my finger over the print without bleeding or smudging. However, any moisture on your finger or liquid will cause the print to bleed out. I suppose this is because of the matte finish and the fact that the white printable area is porous and remains porous after printing. I ordered these because they were +R and printable. I am not dissatisfied with the product as I was unsure of what to expect, but do wish it was not so easily susceptible to moisture.

Verbatim does make a DVD product that does protect against moisture as well as provide a glossy, picture paper like, print. It is the Verbatim Aquaace Hub Printable DVD. However, this product is available only in DVD-R and is twice as expensive for the same count.

I bout these DVD's to copy family and home videos to as well as to burn 2 copies of my Win8 upgrade ISO I purchased (digital download ISO). I decided to buy the AquaAce also after seeing the video as I want to make sure my prints last as long as the DVD's themselves.

I still give this product 4 stars because it does not claim to be water resistant and because I am pleased with the print qualities. I wish we could purchase smaller counts as I mostly want the Aquaace's for the IOS which will have my product key printed on it. Cant lose or that damaged :) !

Other Thoughts: What you have come to expect from Verbatim. The discs are manufactured in Taiwan, but adhere to the standards that the Verbatims made in Japan adhere to.

Pros: Not highly knowledgeable on burning. Do know that Verbatim DataLifePlus disc (CD/DVD) have always worked for me. Burn great, and when I need to pull something out of the archive--one or both copies are always readable.

Cons: None. Don't get the silver tops by mistake?

Pros: Like the cover, easy to write the label and not have to worry with the brand being on there.

Cons: Already finished it.

Pros: Inexpensive, hub printable, beautiful look after printing label with my Epson Artisan 725. Adds a truly pro look to my wedding video work.

Cons: Not glossy but who cares.

Other Thoughts: I've been using these discs for several months now and have burned dozens for my clients weddings. I just recently experience issues with these dvds. I took 3 wedding videos to show to a client and they would not play on their dvd. Two kept freezing and one just did not play.
Then I took the same discs to my day job and again, same issues. The strangest thing is at my house, all 3 dvd players, one is a blu-ray, I have had zero problems playing the same dvds.
I did a wedding on August 20 and my client just informed me that her discs also skip and freeze. And these same discs were played, from beginning to end, on my 3 dvd players. BTW, one is a bluray Magnovox, one dvd recorder Philips, and one standard Panasonic dvd player 6 years old.
I may have to just start burning these discs at 2x as I was burning them at 8x.
One question: Should I burn first then print second or vise versa? I've been printing first. jmzfilms.com
