Great Product!
- Pros: Good quality, no coasters with LG BH08LS20 Burner at 2X. Works great on PS3 and BD players (Must use proper format and software file system should be UDF 2.50). Works great with pinnacle Studio 12 and home HD movies play on PS3 and BD players (I tried many at Best Buy and could not find one that would not play the BD disk.
- Cons: Can only record at 2X and I do not want to attempt a higher recording speed based on other reviews, that it will not work.
- Other Thoughts: This Item was on sale for ~$2.99 a disk on May 8, 2009 with shipping; -$50 instant rebate (best deal I have seen in the US for this type of media), unfortunately the price just went back up on May 11, 2009. Even though the price is now ~$4.99 a disk (as of May 16, 2009 date of this review) it is still a fair price compared to local markets but by no means is it now an internet bargain.
Great burns
- Pros: Burned 20 out of the 25 and all turned out great. So pleased with them have ordered a second set after the recent price drop. The labels look nice after printing.
- Cons: none that I can think of
- Other Thoughts: Of the 20 I have burned I only had one bad burn. It was not really a bad burn, more that I did not check everything out before I burned a final one. I have had good burns using an LG GGW-H20L, and using imgburn to write to it. The new price works out to a nice price per disc for printable BD-R.
Burned With LG Super-Multi, do not try to burn more than 17 GB on these discs
- Pros: Burns Fast on CD/DVD
- Cons: Tried two LG burners with these media. No burner was capable of burning more than 17 GB of data successful on those media. Not sure if the media are bad or the burner(s). Either way, stay away from the LG-RiDATA combination. Used Nero8/9, WinXP Pro 32bit, 2GB RAM, 2 Disk Stripe RAID, 2.4 GHz DualCore
