2 out of 5 eggsWont Buy Again

Pros: Had no problems burning them.

Cons: Movies that I have burned onto both Ridata and Ritek BD-R media seem to be hit or miss on longevity. Some still play fine but a good number of them skip and freeze during playback and some arent even recognisable by 3 different Blue Ray players and both BD drives in my PC. The movies that have problems were burned anywhere from 6 months to 1 year ago. Havent ran into any longevity problems sofar with other brands of BD-R media.

5 out of 5 eggsGood media

Pros: Burns at 10x on my LG burner. Yes, 10x !!!
NO COASTERS.
Good price (I'd still like to see them hit DVD-R price ranges tho).

Cons: Having spent twice as much on Verbatum, for my previous spindle. These Ridata actually burned faster than Verbatum (my fav brand), performed just as well for a lot less.

Other Thoughts: I'd hazzard a guess to say that 75% of gripe reviews here have more to do with cheap hardware (pc or burner), improper software, or lack of knowledge when it comes to burning Blu-ray discs.

1 out of 5 eggsWorthless

Pros: I am no longer short on Coasters

Cons: Where to begin. Could it be that most of the time the disc fails to burn within 2 minutes - or could it be the other times when it reaches 96% and then fails. Always with teh same message "there is not enough space on the disk". Interesting as I am writing 16GB worth of data on a 25GB disc. It's not the machine or the burner, other brands work great.

1 out of 5 eggsGarbage!

Pros: None

Cons: Stay away from this cheap garbage. I had two disks that I recorded HD video on which worked fine for a few months. However, when I tried to watch both today they no longer work. One disk no longer has any data on it and the other disk the HD video is now corrupted. It seems that these disks have design defects.

5 out of 5 eggsgood stuff

Pros: burns quick and stable, no coasters in the pack. I have an older computer with a lg burner Item#: N82E16827136181, that I bought at best buy for cheaper on black friday (sorry newegg), that I thought would cause problems since the discs weren't listed in the accepted media listing, but I have had no problems and burned through the whole pack without a hitch.

Cons: none, worked perfectly for me

1 out of 5 eggsDoes Not Burn 4X, More Like 2X

Pros: None.

Cons: Horrible Discs! Maximum burn is 2X, advertises as 4X. Avoid at all costs! Purchase Optical Quantum discs which are cheaper costing but higher quality discs and most importantly they burn at 4X.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat so Far

Pros: No coasters out of the first 5 burns. I have been using the Ridata disks for my DVD needs for years and have always been impressed with their quality. The same now goes for the BD disks as well.

Cons: No cons.

1 out of 5 eggsHit or Miss

Pros: Inexpensive, large coasters for bigger cups.

Cons: Doesnt always record. So far only 1 out 5 discs have been usable. It for some reason gives me an error on some discs. It doesnt say why it just keeps saying writing data to disc over and over then gives me a failure error with no explanation.

Other Thoughts: I bought these discs because they seemed affordable. So far I have only been able to write info on 1 disc. In the future I will pay a little more and go with a brand that has a better success rate on writing to discs. I'd stay away from them. I wish they'd have a return policy on discs that fail. I feel like I wasted my money on these.
