Cons: None that I can think of at this moment, I'm sure a few will crack but that's okay, I don't even use them. Just writing this review because I felt that I had to xD

Other Thoughts: Disc are dead, Flash Drive FTW!

Pros: nice color and works at 8x speed.

Cons: it is advertised as 16x speed. All other dvds bought from costco operate at 16x. This one does NOT. max speed is only 8x.

Pros: Most discs work just great.

Cons: Had a disc that didn't work. Most do.

Other Thoughts: Good price for the product, definitely will be buying again.

Pros: cheap and reliable data storage; retrieved data after a year, no problem, from disks stored in cakebox (laying on its side!) stored in unheated/uncooled/uninsulated garage (Virginia).

Cons: incompatible with my old Toshiba D-VR4XSU DVR; it is from the stone-age, however, first time I've encountered incompatibility in years (10 years ago I used to a lot).

Other Thoughts: still worth the price; few coasters and burn in about 6 minutes in my ASUS DRW-24B1ST SATA 24X Burner and in about 6 minutes in my SAMSUNG SH-S223F SATA 22X Burner

Pros: CHEAP in terms of price & quality!

Cons: Have burnt about 30 discs & 5 (& counting) failed (so far). Normally with high quality (not these) discs such as Verbatim or basically any other brand I get about 1 bad burn out of approximately 150 - 200 discs. You can actually see the defects such as pits & delamination on most of the failed burns.

Other Thoughts: There is obviously absolutely NO QUALITY CONTROL with this manufacturer. A total waste of time & money! If you want to throw your money away please send it to me instead.

Pros: Cheap cost.

Cons: Ordered and received 500 of these discs trying to save a little money and follow other recommendations. WRONG move. Approximately 3 Discs out of 10 cannot be written on by my DVD writers. (Three different tried on.)

You get what you order. I will go back to Sony and Verbatim discs in the future.

Pros: these RIDATA, use superior ink/dyes to make their disks. the price is well, too good to pass up.

Other Thoughts: the best

Pros: Burned about ten so far and they check out perfect on a different drive as well as the original Lite-on burner.

The translucent blue top is unexpectedly gorgeous, and Sharpey marker shows up well. If it was ugly it would be fine with me too.

The data side has a striking reddish-brown haze which I have not seen on CD/DVD blanks before.

Ridata is not a brand I ever thought of trying before. I figured that in spite of the very large number of positive reviews, they might still be a poorly QCed brand specializing in runs rejected by the major brands, because they were so cheap on sale. But newegg buyers are a savvy bunch -that is when the number of reviews is large, so I took the gamble and bought just the one pack, intending to use them in a project I'm about to start where some flaws will be easily caught. Not only do they test perfect and look perfect, they look downright gorgeous. Too bad I only got one pack.

Cons: ? The cake-box looks rather drab and cheap, unlike the discs. ? It is a sturdy case though.

Two disks stuck together and I put them in the burner that way, making a terrifying racket, but fortunately not destroying the drive. ??? I never had disks stick together before, so now I know I have to take care there is just one.

Other Thoughts: I don't burn a huge number of disks at one time, but over the years it has added up to surely over 500. I have never actually had even one bad burn due to any blank of any brand. Just buying those that have a large amount of reviews which are overwhelming good, when there is a good deal, seems to work.
