2 out of 5 eggsAX850 Professional Series

Pros: Well done PSU, and Cable Management. Plenty of connectors, and well wrap for a clean look

Cons: After 2 years, had Issues with System freezing, turning off,
then later, will not turn on, what so ever, and for so apparent reason turns back on. Fought this for a while, since was my son's PC. Finally, just a few days ago, decide to tackle this issue. I disbelief to be the PSU, and thought to be the MB, but no errors, no beeps, is a good MSI MB. I was replacing the case from a 600 t cosair white to a Gray one, That when I decided to replace the PSU unit, was simpler with a new PSU SeaSonic X Series X-850 one I had in hand to build a new PC. to my surprise work like a charm...Shocked to believe that the Corsair will do this, and seeing reviews
that many have the same issues, made me add this review.

Other Thoughts: My system by coincidence ended up to be corsair Case 600T, the H70, Corsair memory, and cosair, solid state drive a Corsair Force Series 3 CSSD-F120GB3, in which I may add it has it's issues at times were it will not be recognize by the Bios, yes Corsair Drive issues, and one that now I will send to be replace before the Warranty expires. Otherwise Cosair is pretty good and in memory I never had and issues with Corsair. But for the Power supply.... very disappointed...

5 out of 5 eggsFantastic PSU

Pros: The gold certification really does make a difference. I noticed about a $5 difference on my power bills once I got this. It's been working flawlessly for over two years now and will pay for itself should it last another 2.

Cons: Price (but you get what you pay for), however it should pay for itself over time.

Other Thoughts: I own a 800D case and it's a bit tight getting the 12V Motherboard cable attached. It was a tight fit and hasn't caused any structural damage on both motherboards I've used since owning this PSU. They do sell extensions for cheap at my local computer store, but Corsair ought to include one in the box for people who use monster sized cases like me to make installation a little easier.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing PSU

Pros: -Bought this PSU well over 2 years ago and it is still running my gaming PC flawlessly.
-80PLUS Gold
-Quiet, I can't even hear it running
-Fully modular, only use the cables you need for your system, this is a great spave saver
-Beautiful PSU with rock solid build quality

Cons: None whatsoever

Other Thoughts: You know you are getting a quality product when you unbox a corsair power supply. The packaging for this PSU was simply amazing. The powersupply comes in a cloth bag and the cables come with a nice pouch too that I use for holding computer parts.

I bought the individually sleeved cable kit from Corsair which is an awesome addition to this already excellent PSU. I reccomend the cable kit offered by Corasir.

I am running overclocked dual 670s and an i72600K overclocked to 4.5GHz and this thing has power to spare.

2 out of 5 eggsGreat PSU, while it worked...

Pros: Really quite, worked like a charm... for about a month.

Cons: It worked just fine easy peasy until about a month. My computer would randomly freeze and when I turned the computer off, it wouldn't turn back on. The computer would then not turn on for a few days at least and now it doesn't even turn on. Corsair's customer support wasn't any help either. I made 3 request for an RMA or anyone to contact me. No response. I had to call 3 times, first 2 I was hung up on and the third finally just approved the RMA. I was really disappointed.

1 out of 5 eggsDied after installing win7

Pros: Fully Modular. Nice packaging.

Cons: I put my brand new PC together with the new Haswell cpu. Everything was working up until after the windows 7 install. All of a sudden it stopped working and my PC would not power on anymore. After hours of aggravation thinking my brand new build was fried, I decided to pull apart my other PC's PSU to try it out and magically everything worked again.
Very disappointed with this PSU. I'm so satisfied with newegg for their awesome RMA process since this has been my first. I ended up getting an OCZ PSU for $50 less and got a free copy of Far Cry 3...WIN!
I was very upset because I was so meticulous with my new Fractal Design R4 case. I had everything zip tied and organized all the cabling/wiring after successfully installing windows 7. Then I had to tear it all out after the PSU died on me.

Other Thoughts: I don't dislike Corsair, but it did give me a good scare. Their water cooler and fans have been top notch. Just not this PSU...maybe just got a bad one. A little tramautazing when I just spent almost $2000 and the PC just dies on me because of a defective product.
