GS series gaming power supply units offer efficient and reliable power delivery without comprising value and style. They are 80 PLUS Bronze certified with up to 85% energy efficiency under real-world load condition. Carefully selected components offer a temperature rating of 40° C for premium reliability. Color adjustable LED fan can switch between red, blue, white, and off settings by pressing the button on the back (600W model – blue or off mode only). The color accessory pack (available separately) allows you to swap out the blue accent ring to match your PC’s color scheme.

  • newegg Customize your look Your desire to customize your power supply can be satisfied now. The color ring accessory pack, available separately, lets you match your GS Series PSU's accent color to your system's look, and the fan has red, white and blue LEDs (blue only on the GS600) to bathe the inside of your system in soft light. Running in stealth mode? You can turn off the lighting with a hardware switch that's accessible from outside the case.
  • newegg Quiet Operation A good gaming power supply must provide the cooling you need when you're pushing it hard, but it should be quiet when you're not. GS Series PSUs accomplish this through excellent efficiency — it generates less heat, so it requires less cooling — and a temperature-controlled 140mm fan that automatically adjusts its speed to meet demand. It doesn't even spin up until it's needed.
  • newegg Reliable No matter what your budget, your PC's power supply shouldn't go before its time. GS Series PSUs are built with carefully selected components to deliver a temperature rating of 40° C, for years of service in punishing environments. The fan uses a double ball bearing design to help ensure that it lasts as long as the internal circuitry.
  • newegg Compatible GS Series PSUs are build-friendly, with enough connectors to power just about any gaming rig you can imagine, and extra-long cables for full-tower case support and creative cable routing. It fits any ATX PC case, and works with ATX, Micro ATX, Mini ITX, and E-ATX, and all other ATX-compatible motherboards.

3 out of 5 eggsDied just before 2 years

Pros: Quiet, only ran when it needed to, which wasn't often it seemed like. Worth the money invested early on.

Cons: While I'm sure what happened to me is far in the abnormal, my power supply suddenly died. Computer failed to boot, random shut downs. New PSU completely resolved the problem.

Other Thoughts: I wouldn't hesitate to buy this PSU.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing PSU!

Pros: Loads of Power
Aesthetically pleasing
80 Plus Bronze
Long cables

Cons: Non-Modular
Only 2 PCI-E, 6+2 cables

Other Thoughts: I actually bought this PSU because it was not modular, i would rather hide unused cables than have cables running over my bottom mounting fan!

I know its early but this psu is a winner in my books

4 out of 5 eggsDecent PSU

Pros: - Nice design with with Corsair's switchable color inserts
- Bright LED with three colors
- Good power deliver to components (From what I can tell, the computer works to full potential)
- Flexible cables (I fit all of the unused cables so that they could not be seen behind the cable management "wall" in the Corsair C70)

Cons: - High pitched noise comes from the unit. It's very annoying but if you wear headphones all the time I really don't see it being a problem but I use my speakers a lot and the whine can get rather loud.
- Cables are not fully sleeved, the colors show right before the plug. not worth knocking an egg off but it would've been nice if they were fully sleeved.

Other Thoughts: Overall this is a good PSU. This was a gift so I'm not complaining but the whine from the unit has made me want to buy another PSU as soon as possible. Other than that this PSU is completely fine and it runs good. I've had this PSU for more than 3 months. I cannot recommend it though considering the noise that the unit makes and I know it's not just mine because I've read other people's reviews complaining about the same thing. There are much better choices than this PSU now anyway.

4 out of 5 eggsgreat psu, but

Pros: My PC i5 3570k at 4.5ghz, 2x MSI gtx 660ti PE ski, 3HDD, 1 ssd 840 pro ... and this PSU very easy to take care them all, very cool very silent.

Cons: GS 700 have only 2 pci-e 8pin, if you run 2 way, 3 way sli or cf with high-end VGA you will have a trouble with power connect like me. The answer you have to buy 1x pci-e to 2 x pci-e adapter, this PSU is single raid so no problems. That the cons because Corsair say gs700 ready for sli or cf.

5 out of 5 eggsSurprisingly AWESOME

Pros: A lot of people said this power supply is really loud and not very good, I on the other hand have ZERO problems with it. I was really sketchy, but i decided to take a chance. The LED's are really sexy and could work in a lot of builds. (I suggest blue or white since thats the PSU's main color). The fan does boot up on start up. As long as you arent trying to get all 700W out of this thing i find it EGGcelent!!

Cons: None! Only thing at all i could think of is i wish the 24 pin power connector to motherboard was like 2 in longer, but no biggy.

Other Thoughts: GREAT power supply! Definitely go with this even if you are on the edge like I was!

5 out of 5 eggsPower!

Pros: 2nd one of these I have put in a system. They all work great.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Still strange when you see the fan kick off after starting it up. But cool stuff.

3 out of 5 eggsGood, but....

Pros: Its a nice solid PSU, and the changeable LED's are a very nice touch espcially if your case has a color theme. I have a 6870 and phenom ii x6 and it has more than enough power to handle it.

Cons: Corsairs PSU's dont have the fan always running, it only kicks on when its under 25% load or something. This can be very annoying because ill be playing a game and hear it kick on(goes to max power as if turning on computer) then hear it slow down, well the only problem with that is that will do that 5 or 6 times in an half an hour. If you are trying to build a quite pc, I would not recommend this.

Other Thoughts: the LEDS are really cool tho.
