4 out of 5 eggsI like

Pros: This is a great deal.
-Aesthetically pleasing
-Mesh sleeves
-6/8pin power for graphics cards
-Blue/green/red LED
-Large fan
-750w for just $70

Cons: -Not modular (but I mean its $70 so not really expected)
-Can be pretty loud at times

Other Thoughts: Overall this is a very good piece if you don't care about the noise and the extra cords in your case, and that is before you incorporate the price. Because at $70, this is a gold mine.

Specs:
-AMD FX8350 Black
-NVIDIA GTX-770 MSI TF OC Edition
-8GB Samsung DDR3-2100
-1TB WD Caviar Green
-Apevia Warlock 750w PSU
-Peripherals: Razer Kraken 7.1 Headset, 3 Monitors, AZIO Mouse

5 out of 5 eggsGreat buy

Pros: I like the fact it has a switch to change between the three LED red, green and blue light. Once you cycle through each light then press the switch again its will cycle through all three LED light continually until press and hold the switch in for a few seconds. As far as power distribution goes, the 750w does a great job with my EVGA GTX 460 SE that's over 8 years old.

Cons: I have a ENERMAX case

Just one minor issue, very fixable

one of the cables going to the top of the motherboards 8 pin connector that runs the cpu is just enough length to work but the cord is stertched to its max, i had to run it around my EVGA GTX 460 SE graphic card cause the cord didnt have enough room to go over it nor did it have enough room to run the cord throught the back so i got an extension cable and fixed that. Now it has plenty of cable length to run around the back of the case and plugs in.

Other Thoughts: This IS my first build I've had two other factory custom build mid towers but this is my very first personal build and i love it. So word of advice is to do your research on EVERY component you want to but into your pc so it is fully compatible first.

5 out of 5 eggsNice Wattage and Lights

Pros: Looks very nice and the changeable lights remove the need for LEDs in my system. Furthermore, it is a nice wattage for the price and 750 W will run some of the most powerful builds. Overall, very nice.

Cons: None that I know of.

4 out of 5 eggsWell it's working

Pros: Nice looking several color options for display, tons of power connections.

Cons: My last one only lasted 4 years

Other Thoughts: I bought this to replace a previous one I had which was the exact same model. It worked great for 4 years of continuous running. However, I still think 4 years is not long enough. I remember when power supplies out lasted the computers they were in. Anyway, it works great while it's working.

1 out of 5 eggsPiece of doody

Pros: Hmm. it worked once.

Cons: it burnt up in 2 months after being installed for one month.. Way to go newegg!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was actually burning! On a test very well ventilated by no means a newb here. Using a thermaltake device only used one video power input and a total of 580 watts..

Other Thoughts: where is my rma sold me trash.

Manufacturer Response:

You can do an RMA through us for the power supply to get an exchange on the PSU if you are still under our warranty period. You can contact Apevia's customer service at service@apevia.com or call at (909) 718-0789. We try to reply to all calls and e-mails as soon as we can.

5 out of 5 eggsworks well... one complaint...

Pros: Works exactly as you would expect and the led is pretty bright so i didn't really need to buy additional case lights

Cons: basically none... But here's the thing. I originally put this psu into my old NZXT mid tower and while it powered everything the chords were so long and they have this reasonably bulky protective covering it was excessive. i transferred it into my NZXT Phantom full tower and that case has so much chord management built in that all my complaints are basically moot

Other Thoughts: Powers everything well But if you have a smaller case i would recomend something else...

5 out of 5 eggsLong Lasting

Pros: Honestly I was not expecting much from this non-seasonic PSU. However, this PSU has been working for more than 4 years. I have one Video Card, 2 DVD-RW drives, Five Hard drives, 5 fans, tv tunner, 4 LED Lights. Among other things. Excellent buy!!! Will this PSU ever die?

Cons: It gets dusty after 4 years. After this great buy I might go back to Seasonic Made PSU. Back then the PSU cost me 127 Dollars.

1 out of 5 eggsDOA

Pros: nice looking is about it

Cons: doa . Construction is kinda cheap looking . spend your money on a modular powersupply .

Other Thoughts: Spend your money on something better than this . Yes its nice looking at all but nice looking isn't always best .

Manufacturer Response:

5 out of 5 eggsHappy happy happy

Pros: Bought this in 2010 after a previous supply burnt out after 5 years use. This one has been running 24/7 since 2010... Thats everyday with a few exceptions like leaving on vacation or something but on every day/night.. I think this is what makes pcs last. The consistant temps rather than cold/hot/cold/hot/cold/hot from shutting off every night degrading the components due to constant thermal changes...
This supply is powering an asus crosshair MB, 4 gb corsair ram, evga gforce GTX280/2gbVRAM, 2 HDD, running several 250mm fans all on Vista Enterprise 64bit on an AMD 3.1ghz dual core cpu.
We have frequent power fluxuations here where i live and numerous times this has triggered the pc to crash/reboot or just power off all together and it has never afected the supply or pc (knock on wood)

Cons: wish it had been modular as i had lots of left over cables, and since it was a top mounted full atx case i used a few cables were tight but they reached as with most supplies these days... just have no clue as to why companies cant just add the extra measly inch of wire and charge for it and its a win win for all....

Other Thoughts: building a new rig right now and would use this supply again if it were haswell ready
