3 out of 5 eggsDead on Delivery

Pros: Cool case

Cons: Dead on Delivery

Other Thoughts: I am currently getting it replaced, RMA. But for those reading this, I hooked it all up. Went to turn on the pc, and nothing. Then red LED lights within the PSU flashed a few times (really fast). I un-hooked everything, and tested the PSU by using a jumpering tool to connect the green wire with the adjacent black wire. On a good PSU this will apply power just to the fan, making it spin. The fan did not spin, instead it jittered ever few seconds. Almost like it was trying to spin, but not. After calling customer service at Apevia, they told me it was a faulty unit and to contact Newegg for a replacement.

I'll write again, once I get the replacement and it actually works.

3 out of 5 eggsMore to be desired

Pros: Get power, does not starve the machine at all.

Cons: It is a great psu if you know how to use plastic fusion. This is the only psu I've ever owned where the plastic tangs for all the SATA power break. I have just enough in tact to run power to my CD drive, HDD, and SSD.

Other Thoughts: Honestly its not to bad of a psu if you don't plan to run any SATA. Plus the lights work fantastically.

1 out of 5 eggs

Pros: None

Cons: Dead on arrival.

Other Thoughts: I had thought the reviews listing DOA were (likely) edge cases. I'm starting to believe this was not the right assumption to make.

4 out of 5 eggsA decent PSU for the price.

Pros: Plenty of power for my desktop set-up. LED light is not as bright as some may state in other reviews. Price for 900W is as good as it gets.

Cons: None so far.

1 out of 5 eggsDOA
