5 out of 5 eggshappy customer

Pros: quiet. 7 yr old son was annoyed that his old 300 W ps at 40+dBa was replaced by something that he can't tell is on. quiet and powers the system.

Cons: isn't 1000% efficient so i can't sell electricity back to the power company? Also, it's only quiet and not quite. if only it was quite.

Other Thoughts: Using in gigabyte 690G full atx, 4000+, 2 gig ram, 160- gig WD1600AAJS. if i get a couple of extra vid cards then i will upgrade. otherwise, i can't hear this thing at all, son put hand behind ps and said it's working some warm air is coming out. i love it. replaced obnoxious 300W with fan from year 2000 athlon in my full tower which i love and have now repurposed. don't let the noisy fan replacement scare you. this ps is nice and quiet. it's earned it's high rating. great for running my low power system playing games like slune, planet penguin racer, tux kart, webkinz etc

5 out of 5 eggsWorks like a charm

Pros: Active PFC, solid performance, very low noise

Cons: +12V rail is abnormally low (~10.5V), causing unexpected undervolting of processor.

Other Thoughts: The slits on the cable-side of the supply tend to release some heat to the case rather than to outside, so I advise you either block it or keep the uppermost space of 5.25" bay free (for regular ATX models). Most rigs, gaming or not, won't take more than 300W peak, unless it has SLI or its equivalent. I'm using first revision of the power supply.

5 out of 5 eggssolid

Pros: Excellent price, steady power, quiet, quality material, and looks nice.

Cons: none, so far

Other Thoughts: Put this in a p4/biostar system for my 7yr old son. Running a 9800 pro 256 gaming system off it. 2.4 OC'd to 2.8. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a solid psu.

4 out of 5 eggsGood, but poor QC?

Pros: Quiet, cool, much higher efficiency than cheap supplies.

Cons: Was so impressed with my first one I bought 2 more - but one was DOA. Terrible quality controll, seems others have had similar problems. Not acceptable for this price!

Other Thoughts: If you get a good one it is worth it.

5 out of 5 eggsStuff Silent PCs are made of.

Pros: This is the stuff silent PCs are made of. The 120mm fan on this power supply allowed me to remove the case fan, now I can't hear my computer even when I'm right next to it.

Cons: None.

5 out of 5 eggsgood PSU!

Pros: very quiet, stable and provide power for my system (P2 2.6 Northwood, 1.5 G DDR400, 2 Seaget 250 HDD, 2 DVD+_ drvers, and a X800 GTO - which just died on me.. time for a new video card)

Cons: none

2 out of 5 eggshad to RMA

Pros: Highly efficient 330 watt w/ PCF. All I need for my AMDX2 and 7900GS.

Cons: When I hit the power button I heard a loud vibrating humming sound; the fan was hitting something as it spun. I don't know if something was knocked loose during shipping or seasonic just doesn't bother to test their products for defects. Either way not what I would expect from an expensive power supply.

Other Thoughts: I have to pay return shipping for seasonic's own incompetent quality control.

1 out of 5 eggsDies after a Year

Pros: Quiet

Cons: I don't see why SeaSonic has such a high reputation. Mine died after a year. There is NO support/help from the company to RMA dead units. They may be going under for all I know

Other Thoughts: How in the world can something that looks and runs this good be so bad???

4 out of 5 eggsVery nice

Pros: Quiet, runs my dual-core AMD, integrated graphics system fine - no need for higher power.

Cons: A wire was out of place and rubbed against the fan. I was able to push it back with a screwdriver without and RMA luckily.
