- Other Thoughts: I bought this to put in a 2u server. I didn't pay enough attention to think about the fact that the huge fan is mounted on the side of this psu which is flush against the lid, and therefore I will be forced to cut a hole in my rack case.
Quiet, awesome!
- Pros: I was amazed how quiet this PSU is! Provides plenty of power (see system details below) for a basic Vista PC that is fast, quiet and cool.
Put this PSU in a system with some Nexus Real Silent (or similarly quiet fans) and you'll have a virtually inaudible PC!
- Cons: None, really!
- Other Thoughts: My System: C2D E4300 at 3GHz (9 x 334MHz at 1.375V), 2x1Gb G.Skill DDR2-800 RAM (F2-6400CL5D-2GBNQ), Seasonic S12-380, Gigabyte 7800GT Silent Pipe II, Samsung HD400LJ, Pioneer DVR-112D; all in an Antec Solo case with Nexus Real Silent fans and Scythe Ninja Rev.B (SCNJ-1100P) - very quiet, cool, and fast!
Quiet
- Pros: I got one of these recently for myself and it was so quiet and great that I got another for my sister. Both are powering core 2 duo e6400 w/ Mushkin xp2 6400 ram and ds3 mobo.
- Cons: Wish it had some fan power connectors. Also in order to connect to floppy, you have to sacrafice 1 molex connector.
