Developed for high-end dual GPU systems, the NVIDIA SLI and CrossFire ready SeaSonic S12-600 600W Power Supply delivers super high efficiency, meaning minimal waste heat. Cooling is provided by a 120 mm, ball-bearing fan that also features Smart & Silent fan control to balance noise and cooling. The Active PFC design increases efficiency and reduces power consumption, while ultra ventilation doubles the airflow and increases the lifespan, with half the RPM and noise. Use of high reliability Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitors and Forward Converter Circuit Design let the SeaSonic S12-600 provide stable output, reliability and efficiency. This enables you to run the power supply for extended durations, without worrying about cooling and performance.

There is nothing on the power supply that does not add functionality. No flashing LEDs, no unnecessary switches, nor glow when powered on. This is strictly an all-business PSU, designed to deliver maximum stable power across rock solid rails across the board. With its Universal AC Input, you can safely use it anywhere in the world. It comes with one Main connector (20 + 4 pin), one 12V (P4), one 12V (8pin), nine peripherals, six SATA, two Floppy, and two PCI-E connectors. It also sports two +12V rails (12V1, 12V2), which allow support for the most high-end of PC systems. This PSU offers remarkable performance in rail strength, efficiency and quietness, and will keep you powered up long past your own ability to stay awake!

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: I've been running this Power Supply since 2005, and never had an issue. It's been running my system 24/7 since then, with maybe four days of total down time. SeaSonic will forever been my choice in PSU brands due to their longivity, durability, and stability under load.

I built my system to last, and to be near silent, and this PSU is surpassing my expectations. I honestly expected it to last maybe 5 years, but it's getting close to a decade now and it hasn't skipped a beat!

Cons: No modular design, but with stability, silence, and the quality/durability of this unit, who would want modular?

Other Thoughts: After purchasing it I started to find modular PSUs, but nothing with good reviews or feedback from others in the tech communities, SeaSonic's 600W S12 seemed to fit into my system plans of a long lasting and quiet PC build, even if it didn't offer the modular design. I'm glad I didn't get a modular PSU now, since it's going on 8 years 24 hours a day 7 days a week!

5 out of 5 eggsStill going strong

Pros: Bought this in Sep. '05 and it's still going like the day I got it. I just blow the dust out from time to time.

Cons: There are no cons in Seasonic

Other Thoughts: I hope to come back in a few years and post another updated review.

1 out of 5 eggsAlmost Worked!

Pros: Worked great for the whole 10 minutes it actually worked.

Cons: Failed in under 10 minutes.

Other Thoughts: This thing blasted out smoke and filled my whole room up with smoke before I was able to turn it off. Insane.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks like a charm

Pros: Powers everything in my case flawlessly. Extremely quiet... I can't hear it at all over the other 9 fans in my case lol.

Cons: Not modular. Probably not enough power to SLI two 8800 GTX's.

Other Thoughts: eVGA 680i MoBo, 1x eVGA 8800 GTX, Core 2 Duo E6700, Soundblaster Audigy 2 ZS, 1 optical drive, 1 floppy drive, 4 HDD's, 5 case fans. Plenty of power.

5 out of 5 eggsupdate

Pros: Efficient, cool running and powerful. Trouble-free.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Just an update. I've had my S12 up and running 24/7 for the last 14 months now. I've had absolutely ZERO problems since day one. I blow the dust out every once in a while but since the fans hardly have to work to keep it cool there's hardly any dust accumulation anyways. This really is an amazing power supply. It's totally worth the price to have this kind of piece of mind. As always Newegg is the best.

5 out of 5 eggsBest PS Ever!

Pros: Plenty of power, very quiet, plenty of connectors available

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I have AMD X2-4400+ system with 4x 320GB Seagate Hard Drives, 2x 7800GT on SLI, 1x sound card, 1x Wireless card, 2x DVD drives, 1x 3.5" Floppy drive and my system runs nice and stable with this power supply. Going to buy Seasonic power supply in the future...

5 out of 5 eggsGreat PSU

Pros: Great looking PSU. Lots of connectors neatly wrapped to make them easy to route through the case. Very quiet and cool.

Cons: Only thing I would add is a cable to plug into a motherboard fan slot so that the PSU fan speed could be monitored.

Other Thoughts: Newegg as usual shipped fast.

5 out of 5 eggsAWESOME!!!

Pros: super stable, super quiet, and super cool.

Cons: none, but less expensive is always better.

Other Thoughts: I reviewed power supplies for awhile as my OCZ 520w was running extrememly hot all the time. turns out this one had a very high rating for the least power consumed on a 150w tester. plus it had a high review for very stable power, which it did.

all in all this thing not only runs my system nice and cool, but stable and quiet.

My system: Asus A8N32,AMD64 x2 4400+, X1900XTX 512mb (only 1), a Areca 1220 raid 6 PCIe controller card in second SLI slot, 4 36GB raptor is raid 0 mode. a 80gb Hitachi sata II backup drive, 2 Nec 3500 DVD+-RW, Creative Audigy ZS sound card, and 2gb (2x1gb) OCZ DDR400 ram. all in a ThermalTake Shark case.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent

Pros: Couldn't ask for much better! Works perfectly and the power output is almost identical to what it claims! Much better than my Aspire 680W PSU!

Cons: It would be better if it had the plug ins actually on the PSU so you wouldn't have a couple extra cables just lying there...nothing else that you could really perfect though!
