Pros: It's very quiet in a PC with a 45 watt CPU and integrated graphics.

Other Thoughts: The replacement unit is fine. So was the original, very likely. It turns out that there was some flakiness with the case power switch in one of the three new cases for these systems. In too much of a rush I thought it was a problem with the PSU. Bleh. Fortunately this kind of idiocy doesn't happen every day.

Pros: Quiet, 80plus, enough power for most computers. Probably best sub $40 power supply.

Cons: Not modular, but it's not so I'm not expecting it. Doesn't come with a power cord.

Other Thoughts: Most builds probably don't actually need more than 300 Watts. My HD MythTV based media center pulls 60 Watts AC at idle, about 110 Watts AC under full load, which is exactly what I wanted. AMD Phenom II 720 based with GeForce 8200. Would definitely buy again and recommend for any one to use for their media center.
