Seasonic G series 450 – is the hardwired cables (MB + CPU) flat ribbon ?

the non modular ATX power cable is inside a wire mesh. Its not flat, but its not a bunch of wires to manage either.

This says it supports 6 SATA power connectors? I don't need any Molex power. Would it be possible for me to buy additional SATA power cables to get the support up to 11 SATA power?

You can combine the existing cables to give you 4 female Molex connectors. Attaching Molex-to-dual SATA adapters will give you an additional 8 SATA power connectors. The adapters are widely available, and cheap. Newegg sells them. My preference would be to buy additional Seasonic-compatable cables with multiple SATA connectors. This is more reliable than the connector-to-connector-to-connector solution above. I found one place that sells them (Newegg does not allow links to other sites), but there are probably others.

Most Seasonic PSU's the SATA plugs are orientated for PSU to be bottom mounted. I would assume this is the case with this model as well? If you have a top mount case I can't see the length being long enough to reach a bottom bay due to the cable needing to go down and then back up for alignment.

I had no problem with a top mount mid tower case.
