Pros: Good cable length. Meets perfect ATX standards. Good price point.

Cons: Loud fan. The built in fan is extremely loud and I do not see a way to control it. It is simply on at full speed the minute you boot up. If you are looking for a PSU for a desktop PC and you plan on working next to it, I do not recommend the model. My use is for a server in a basement so I don't care.

4 out of 5 eggsWorks

Pros: Worked just fine, hopefully it doesn't smoke.

Cons: As other reviewer's have stated the same thing, It is LOUD. Only 1 Sata connector means you have to purchase a molex to sata connector.

Other Thoughts: Just for a budget build, the noise and lacking extra sata connector is acceptable, but might be worth forking out some extra cash to actually get a power supply that doesn't require buying an extra adapter.

3 out of 5 eggsIt works. Loudly.

Pros: Very cheap. Seems stable so far. Voltages look good.

Cons: Very very loud. Raidmax says on the box "Quiet Fan".... ha ha, oh wow. Not even close. The thing sounds like it's running at 3000rpm. If I wasn't donating PC to a church or community center, I would definitely return this PSU. Too loud, the PC sounds like a jet engine. Combine this with a cheap case and you have a recipe for sonic annoyance.

Other Thoughts: Putting together a cheap PC with graveyard parts since I hate throwing stuff away (A64 x2 2.0ghz, nforce4ultra, 7800gt). Bought this for the price, and not too many reviews say anything about burning up or catching fire like some of the even cheaper ones.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazed

Pros: Good, inexpensive power supply have used them before. The part that amazed me was the delivery time, I ordered it in the morning and got it the next afternoon with just regular shipping! Now I know Newegg has always given me good service but this goes beyond good even for them.

Cons: None

5 out of 5 eggsGlad I bought it.

Pros: Obviously some of a power supply's worth is how long it lasts, but having used a few of these, I can say they worked without issues, holes lined up, fan had good airflow without much noise.

Cons: Only one SATA connector, must use Molex to SATA power adapter in each build, but that's only a dollar or two more.

1 out of 5 eggsTicking time bomb

Pros: was efficient and low priced, almost lasted a whole year, you get what you pay for.

Cons: the power cord port broke, the cable was melted, fuzing the plugin to the internal prongs. thus burning a hole in my processor port, destroying my motherboard. also causing damage to my graphics card and costing me more money then it is worth. DO NOT BUY UNLESS YOU WANT TO DESTROY YOUR SYSTEM

Other Thoughts: i would never recommend this psu to ANYONE. spend the extra cash to keep your system functioning. this power supply has single handedly destroyed my system and is forcing me to build a whole new system.

3 out of 5 eggsCheap, But Noisy

Pros: Fully functional. Very cheap.

Cons: Fan is overly loud. Also, only 1 SATA cable (easily solved via a Molex-to-SATA adapter I purchased elsewhere).

Other Thoughts: Wished I paid more attention to the reviews because this fan is a bit too noisy for my likes.
