wonderful
- Pros: best psu ive ever owned.. i overclocked my corei7 and gtx video card to max 4ghz and plenty of power to spare..
- Cons: would be cool if it was painted.. but i can take care of that :-)
- Other Thoughts: raw 30amps of power for my hungry COREi7
Love it!
- Pros: Excellent power supply. Lots of cables. Modular. Easy to put in.
- Cons: Instruction manual is a little vague
- Pros: Plenty of cables and adapters; heavy duty wires and construction; silent; plethora of power; nice little velcro pouch to keep unused or knowingly extra wires in one place.
- Cons: The 12v CPU power cord is considerably short for a bottom mounted PSU. To run the wire to the top of my Element S case, i can only have it hang on top of all my other hardware which i do not like.
Also be careful with screws around it. the top of the PSU where the fan is, the openings for the fan are JUST big enough so that they can fall in.
Also, the peripheral wire has some weird clip designs in the shape of some strange ovaly thing, which is very hard to tuck away in tight corners.
- Other Thoughts: As far the space on top by the fan, just be careful around it, that was my fault, and kinda funny... not really...
And yes, the shape of the clip bugs me because they are a hassle for me.
The 12v CPU cable is kind of short, but all in all, this is a FANTASTIC PSU and im very glad i bought it. It powers my : i7 920 + GA-EX58-UD3R + 2x SLI EVGA GTX 260 Core 216 Superclocked + 2x WD Caviar 640gb HDD's + optical drives + 4 beefy fans and BARELY gets warm.
