2 out of 5 eggsFried my Mobo

Pros: Worked great, plenty of cables, etc.

Cons: I used this PSU for about eight months, and just two days ago it fried and took my motherboard along with it... Trust me, you're getting what you payed for. A power supply with this much wattage and such low cost is too good to be true.

Other Thoughts: It worked great for those eight months, and due to my motherboard frying I've decided to upgrade my old Intel E5200 2.5Ghz dual core processor to an AMD Phenom II x4 3.2Ghz Black Edition.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat for the price!

Pros: The power supply is great i was a little sketchy about it but in the end it was a great buy its alot cheaper than most PSU's I'm running a dual core @ 3.2 a radeon 5850 OC'ed in a antec 900 plenty of power left over.

Cons: It was a little difficult for me to install but that was probably due to me not taking anything out but my old PSU.

Other Thoughts: Great buy I would purchase again!

5 out of 5 eggsGreat PSU

Pros: Upgraded from a 600 watt psu. had blue screen problems due to it not being powerful enough for what i was running. this certainly fixed the problem. good and quiet. cables are perfectly setup for any case/setup.

Cons: none

1 out of 5 eggsWrong PCI-e connectors

Pros: It's a power supply?

Cons: the PCI-e connectors are don't have the appropriate pin shape which makes this power supply essentially useless out of the box for anything except onboard video. Not sure if this is a manufacturing defect that only happens occasionally or if it is a regular thing.

Other Thoughts: There is at least one other reviewer with the same problems. Do not attempt to force the connection, just return this piece of trash

Pros: None -

Cons: Stopped working after 2 weeks. Newegg refuses to replace it since I don't have the original box. Won't be shopping here any more.

1 out of 5 eggsfried

Pros: non

Cons: fried my evga 750i F-T-W. The two pci 16x connectors would not fit into the power connectors on my evga gtx 260. When it was powered on it would make a high pitched ring sound. overall bad product and will never buy anything coolmax again.

3 out of 5 eggsWorks, Runs HOT!

Pros: Works OK for a 850Watt power supply runs my GTX 260 xfx OK so far with out problems

Cons: NOT what advertised, says on site 850watt max but on the actual power supply supply it says 729 watt max....?? runs really hot for a quad rail power supply? also a few screw on the case of the psu are scre-wed in sideways appears to have been build by monkeys.

Other Thoughts: Wont make the same mastake twice, i'll stick with thermal take or OCZ you get the actul voltage advertised and they do not run hot!
