The ST56F from Silverstone deliver 560W of power to your system so you have plenty of juice for gaming, file-serving or both. Dual +12V rails provide a balanced output. An Active PFC and >80% efficiency ensure minimal power waste, keeping the PSU cool in the hottest action.

It is CrossFire X Certified with dual 6-pin PCIe connectors. There are also 6 SATA connectors for all of your high speed drives. The cables are partially mesh sleeved to increase air flow and to make management easier.

Superb PSU

Pros: This PSU is rock solid...Silverstone makes a terrific product. It weighs like ten pounds so you know it's a serious unit. The 120mm fan is quiet, but doesn't push a lot of air...however the unit is well-ventilated so heat isn't a problem. Well worth the money if you have a power vampire for a rig.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Came with every cable imaginable. The mesh helps to keep wires organized and well insulated. Highly recommended.

Trips Arc Fault Breaker

Pros: Purchased the power supply to be able to install a new graphics card in a HP PC. The ST56F feels solid and has good looking black paint on the exterior. The 2 six pin PCIe connectors are sleeved as well as the motherboard power connectors. The drive power cables are not sleeved. The power supply fan is not audable over the other fans in the chassis. It is really more power supply for what I need. I am hoping the extra wattage means it will be able to keep up with any future upgrades.

Cons: I have a newer home with Arc fault breakers in the bedrooms. This power supply trips them. Silverstones tech support suggested I plug the supply dirrectly into the wall outlet. This had no effect. The AFCI in the breaker panel works fine with other computers and is working correctly. As far as I can tell it is an inrush current issue. I would send it back, but I am fairly sure I would get the same results from the replacement.

Other Thoughts: I almost returned the supply. Instead I moved the computer to another room. Not really the best solution. I am still considering other solutions, including purchasing another power supply (from New Egg naturally) and using this as spare.

Pros: I would rate this well above a Thermaltake PS @ 400 watts. Silverstone runs cooler and with a;lower noise level. This PS has more power leads than a public utility.

Pros: Industrial strength with all the connections you will ever need.
Extremely quiet and incredibly energy efficient. Comes with Velcro straps and hand tighten screws too.

Other Thoughts: This is a super high quality PS and it's well worth the extra money. You get what you pay for.

Pros: High quality PSU. Has TONS of connections...way more that what I needed. Stable and quiet.

Cons: none so far...

Other Thoughts: It's really heavy so you know you're buying quality. Has enough connectors for crossfire dual gpu setup...Powering an AMD 9550...went with the 560w just in case I decide to upgrade video card.
