1 out of 5 eggs10 Day Update - dead

Pros: Worked great for 10 days

Cons: Did not work great after 10 days

Other Thoughts: I left a 4 Star update after I installed this power supply around 10 days ago. Lastnight it died, no longer will power on at all.

Hardly worth spending 10$ to send it back for a $16 refund. Pretty much a waste of money.

4 out of 5 eggsWorks but not standard size

Pros: It does work.

Cons: The fan box thing is in the way, I had to bend a piece out of the way in my case to get it to fit.
Only half the mounting screw holes would line up at any time.
Only 1 sata plug, what is this 2004 ? At least I had 4pin to sata adapters around.

Other Thoughts: My old power supply was weak, when I would try to use any add-on video card the computer crash, freeze, not boot...Now it works fine with the same video card installed. My old PS was suppose to be 400w, but over the years apparently lost some capacity.

Fan is slightly louder than before but its not the 'loudest power supply ever' .

1 out of 5 eggsIncorrect dimensions shown in details

Pros: The package arrived in a timely manner.

Cons: Under the heading of Dimensions & Weight it shows this is 5" x 4" x 2.5" which is incorrect. The fan sticks out the top so it wouldn't fit in my micro ATX case. The shipping box was severely damaged; so damaged, the product's box was also damaged. It was obvious the damage occurred prior to shipping because the packing tape was stretched over the damaged section of the box. Whoever shipped it was too lazy to get a new box. Newegg accepted the return but it cost me almost $9.00 to send it back. I paid for shipping both ways when it was an error on their part.

Other Thoughts: Do not purchase this item if you need it to fit in a very small space.

1 out of 5 eggsBEWARE - DO NOT BUY!!!

Pros: Small compact size

Cons: Purchased two on the same invoice. One failed after 2 months of light use on the computer it was installed on. Newegg doesn't want to take responsibility because it has been over 1 month. Contacted the company directly via Phone and Email. Took over two weeks for them to contact me back. Sent them all the paper work they requested via email. Never heard anything back from them again.

Other Thoughts: What a lousy company to deal with. Power supply was cheap, so I'm not going to waste anymore time on this junk. I purchased a different power supply from a different manufacturer and it is working like a champ.

1 out of 5 eggsLoudest Power Supply Ever

Pros: * Very cheap

* Works

Cons: * Literally the loudest power supply I've ever heard in my entire life. It is so loud that it's unusable in an office space.

* Odd shape, doesn't fit correctly in uatx cases.

Other Thoughts: Unless you're going to put this in a machine that you'll never enter, and is completely sound proofed, don't buy this.

2 out of 5 eggsWorks when it works

Pros: Cheap, nice as a back up

Cons: Used this as a psu for a htpc. Turned it on today and what i believe was a capacitor blew. Sparks and everything

Other Thoughts: This was the second time I've ever seen sparks from a power supply. Only other time was with a faulty psu present in a computer I was fixing for a friend. I may have got a bad unit but it should go after 5 months.

2 out of 5 eggsNot so much

Pros: The units perform well as far as power for the system.
They have a p4 power connection as well as a single SATA.
The cables are long enough for all my builds.

Cons: These units tend to become loud over time and as they do the temperature rises. There is a small extension on the bottom, (fan housing) which prevents installations in cases where a true mini-itx fit is required.

Other Thoughts: These power supplys are a niche market and fill the bill in a pinch. You might look elesewhere if you are expecting a long term, trouble free solution.
