1 out of 5 eggsBEWARE - DO NOT BUY!!!

Pros: Small compact size

Cons: Purchased two on the same invoice. One failed after 2 months of light use on the computer it was installed on. Newegg doesn't want to take responsibility because it has been over 1 month. Contacted the company directly via Phone and Email. Took over two weeks for them to contact me back. Sent them all the paper work they requested via email. Never heard anything back from them again.

Other Thoughts: What a lousy company to deal with. Power supply was cheap, so I'm not going to waste anymore time on this junk. I purchased a different power supply from a different manufacturer and it is working like a champ.

1 out of 5 eggsLoudest Power Supply Ever

Pros: * Very cheap

* Works

Cons: * Literally the loudest power supply I've ever heard in my entire life. It is so loud that it's unusable in an office space.

* Odd shape, doesn't fit correctly in uatx cases.

Other Thoughts: Unless you're going to put this in a machine that you'll never enter, and is completely sound proofed, don't buy this.

2 out of 5 eggsWorks when it works

Pros: Cheap, nice as a back up

Cons: Used this as a psu for a htpc. Turned it on today and what i believe was a capacitor blew. Sparks and everything

Other Thoughts: This was the second time I've ever seen sparks from a power supply. Only other time was with a faulty psu present in a computer I was fixing for a friend. I may have got a bad unit but it should go after 5 months.

2 out of 5 eggsNot so much

Pros: The units perform well as far as power for the system.
They have a p4 power connection as well as a single SATA.
The cables are long enough for all my builds.

Cons: These units tend to become loud over time and as they do the temperature rises. There is a small extension on the bottom, (fan housing) which prevents installations in cases where a true mini-itx fit is required.

Other Thoughts: These power supplys are a niche market and fill the bill in a pinch. You might look elesewhere if you are expecting a long term, trouble free solution.

4 out of 5 eggsReliable after 4 years

Pros: Compact size, fits in tight cases. I have one of these fans still running in a 4 year old PC build. I installed a second one about 2 years ago ina PC that is running a lot. After a while the fan got noisy, so I lubed the bearings and it's still going

Cons: noisy bearings in fan

Other Thoughts: I've never had one fail yet after 4 years

5 out of 5 eggsSolid and Dependable

Pros: I inherited a dental office which was cursed with about 12 cheap home built pcs with 7 dollar psu's. In the last 1.5 years nearly all of them have died at some point and this unit is what I have been replacing them with. None of the replacements have failed, they fit as perfect substitutes and I have no complaints about them.

Cons: This may be more of a case flaw but they are slightly hard to line up with the back of the case due to their size and shape. Not enough to prevent use or cause serious issue but hey there's a section for griping so why not.

Other Thoughts: For a cheap and basic power supply you will not have issues with this unit. It's nothing fancy but it works.

1 out of 5 eggsDOA Power supply and bad customer service

Pros: Good price

Cons: bad customer service
product DOA (tested)

Other Thoughts: When this item arrived, it did not power on my motherboard. I tested the unit using my Antec power supply tester and there was an alarm. The 5v out was reading 5.4v. The acceptable deviation for 5v out is 5% which this obviously exceeded.

When I contacted the manufacturer for RMA the best solution they had for me was to return the product to them (paid by myself), and after they got it, they would take a week to test it and send a replacement or the same one back if it tested ok. Newegg was able to send me a return shipping label immediately and return my money without a problem. Logisys support is geared toward keeping you from bothering them.
