5 out of 5 eggssolid for 5.5 years so far

Pros: This is a positive review. I really don't spend much time looking at power supplies. But this one has functioned for 5 1/2 years so far without a hitch. Very little heat output as well, which is my biggest concern when choosing a power supply

Cons: Not modular

Other Thoughts: I don't game very much. So I doubt I've really stressed this power supply very often. I do have a higher end graphics card, but it's highly under-used.

5 out of 5 eggsStill working great

Pros: Has worked great for everything i have thrown at it. 2 8800gt's in sli, a gtx 560ti, and finally a gtx 670 along with an overclocked Phenom 2 970. Not a spec of trouble, still going great and its 5.5 years old.

Cons: none

3 out of 5 eggsEh...

Pros: While I don't have this exact specific model, I had the VERY similar 1 x COOLER MASTER Real Power Pro RS-650-ACAA-A1 650W ATX Form Factor 12V V2.3

It worked, looked good, was quiet.

Cons: It seems like not that long ago, but I purchased the 1 x COOLER MASTER Real Power Pro RS-650-ACAA-A1 650W ATX Form Factor 12V V2.3 PSU 5/18/2008. It just died 11/2011. I guess three years is ok...but when I pay $120 for a high-end PSU, I kinda expect it to last longer than some generic PSU slapped in some low-end tower.

Other Thoughts: It was not on 24/7. Took it apart, did not see any signs of bulged caps or physical damage...

5 out of 5 eggs2+ years, still rock solid

Pros: bought Dec 2008, after 2 years have no problems with it

Cons: none that I know of

Other Thoughts: during hurricane Irene, a brief power outage (fraction of a second) cause all of the other electronic devices to reset (IE, flashing 12:00) while my computer tower kept running, not missing a beat. Props to Cooler Master

1 out of 5 eggs

Pros: it started out great, lots of power, no problems

Cons: after about 4 months a few of the rails stopped working randomly, i noticed some of my case fans not working anymore....figured it was just cheap fans. but after about 9 months the whole thing died, and it took the motherboard with it. had to replace both...and my case fans are working again now.

4 out of 5 eggsExcellent, proven performance all around in a slightly cheap package

Pros: Very good efficiency, low heat, low noise and excellent voltage regulation (you know, it like, doesn't send, like, electricity spikes to your parts in your box and fry them) Attractive and solid housing. Good length cables. Excellent performance all around and stands up under full load - Try googling some real power supply reviews of it and see what I mean.

Cons: Overall build quality is average. Cables/connectors are cheap and not modular. Doesn't have a BLU light! :) Costs way more now than I got it for.

Other Thoughts: Check out a real review of this thing from awhile ago on hardocp dot com (The 750w is exactly the same, just rated higher). The thing under FULL load holds up and holds up well.

In late '08 an Axxxc supply (hundred and twenty dollar one not quite a year old) died and I was just going to buy what looked like a good value at the big B&M retail store. I stumbled upon it and happened to get it for seventy bucks with no rebate! Had no idea what I was getting at the time but I figured I was getting a totally average quality PSU for what I paid and how much "good" PSU's are. I am truly surprised to see well into the triple digits online. It's still EASILY worth three figures with it's actual excellent performance.

The problem is that at the hundred twenty price point there are others with better/modular cables and also excellent performance. For seventy, it was a freaking steal for me! :)

If you DO see the Real Power Pro line at a low price, it's definitely a bargain and grab one!

5 out of 5 eggsNice PS

Pros: I own 2 of these power supplies, I grabbed them at a far lower price than they currently are. Works great on my Core2 and on my i7 setup. Cables are nicely wrapped in black mesh. Runs my system with HD4870, 4 HDs, and Quadcore Core2 easily. 80plus certified

Cons: Non modular cables

5 out of 5 eggsCOOLER MASTER Real Power Pro 650W

Pros: The COOLER MASTER Real Power series power supplies are the second best power supplies on the market (first being the UCP series).

They all feature high efficiency levels (usually 80 Plus Certified like on this PSU), with the typical efficiency and average efficiency above 85%.

Internally, the large and silent 120mm fan draws in air. Unlike most other PSUs, the COOLER MASTER power supplies are very silent (especially the Silent Pro M series) and actually exhaust heat outside of the PC case. Aluminum heat pipes transfer heat to the rear of the unit where heat is exhausted.

Dual transformers balance all rails, offering greater stability. Three +12v rails with 19A on each, making 57A total. Fully utilized you should get around 40A. Non modular helps in the stability and size of the unit.

This PSU will fit in any normal ATX case. Glossy finish looks splended.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I use this in my system which includes an overclocked Intel Core 2 DUO E8400 (3.6 ghz/1600 mhz FSB, 1.328 VCore and 1.4V FSB), 4 GB of DDR2/PC2 6400 RAM (Crucial Ballistix overclocked to 960 mhz, 5:6 ratio with FSB), EVGA GTX 260 CORE 216 - 55nm (684/1476/1190), PNY 9600GT PhysX processor (720/1800/950), Creative SB Audigy SE 7.1 sound card, WD Caviar 320 GB hard drive, and 5 case fans. No issues what so ever.
