Cooler Master's Real Power Pro RS-550-ACAA-A1 PSU is designed with the power user in mind. This 80 Plus certified unit has a rated continuous output capacity of 550W with a max peak output of 660W. Not only is it a SLI certified unit, it is also compliant with ATX 12V v2.3 and EPS 12V v2.91.
The 24-pin motherboard connector is backed up by both a 4-pin and an 8-pin CPU connector. There are 5 Molex and 6 SATA connectors for drives and other peripherals. The 2 PCIe connectors have bead core protection to minimize EMI and electrical noise. A floppy drive connector is included, just in case you need one.
Keeping everything cools is a 120mm fan with an automatic speed control. The back panel is a honeycomb mesh for unrestricted air flow. The combination results in a low noise rating of only 17dBA.

solid
- Pros: quietish, price, long cables.
- Cons: not modular, long cables.
- Other Thoughts: i have had this psu for 3 years. its in my terciary system right now which is a media server, htpc and game machine for a 60" s*ny in the basement. so its running 9600gt sli, 8 hd, bunch of fans, etc. if i didnt need more wattage, i would still be using it in my machine.
Just what i needed...cept modular
- Pros: Cables are long and also shielded. 2 x 6 pin connectors fits me only having a single 9800gt. A seperate 4 pin and 8 pin mobo connector. Not heavy.
- Cons: I had to turn it upside down to mount in my case since the holes didnt match up (PSU mounts on the bottom of my case). The spec's label ended showing because of this, i could scrape it off but figured that might do more damage than harm.
Not modular
- Other Thoughts: Other than it not being modular this was perfect for my needs. Cables had plenty of slack for cable management and are pre-sleeved so they're clean looking. Good buy.

Nice PS
- Pros: More power than I needed. Wouldn't mind going bigger if you can. This is overall a good power supply though.
