Pros: It looks like a very solid power supply with all the options you need.
Cons: Now the bad part!!! for some crazy reason this power supply will not work with the x58 evga mother board... after many long nights tracking down the problem only to find out this power supply was the issue. So please do not buy this unit if you are going to use it with the this new mother board!!!

Will not work with some systems

Pros: Works great (and quiet)... when it works... when it powers on.
Cons: Bought 3 of these, for 2 systems with a spare. Works great on 1 system, but refuses to reliably power on 2nd system. When first installed, it powered up and ran great for a couple weeks (I leave my systems on 24/7). Then I had to power down the system. It refused to power on again, with a white LED glowing in the rear every time I tried to power on the system. First time this happened, I swapped it out for the spare, but it had the same issue. I read on some forums that others had this same issue. If you hold the power button in for several seconds, it resets the unit and the LED goes out. After an hour of doing this repeatedly (and just before I got the gun), it finally powered on and ran great for another week.... before I had to power off again. This time after an hour and a half, I gave up and replaced it with a $50 cheap Antec unit I keep for a desperate spare, and it is working fine (albeit louder).
Other Thoughts: I suspect the "UCP" feature is incompatible with certain hardware combos, and falsely senses an issue and refuses to power on. This system is running an Asus P5WDG2 WS Pro m/b, and I tried removing or replacing every component but the cpu (QX6700) to no avail, so the PSU may not like this m/b. (The other system has an Asus P5E-Deluxe and powers on reliably with this PSU.)

Pros: Solid built, nice finishing, all the connections i need, works great when it works
Cons: it suddenly stopped when i were in the middle of a game, not sure what happened, i just smell sth burning, and then, it's gone For a 5 year warranty PSU, it really should last longer, much longer than just 5 months
We apologize for the trouble you have had. The power supply comes with a 5 year warranty, should anything like this happen, we can replace it. You can file an RMA via the link below. Should you require to contact us or discuss the trouble you are having you can do so via the Live Chat link below.

Pros: 1. It has the 80 PLUS SILVER rating. 2. 900 Watts 3. I got a good deal when I bought in a combo of the HAF 932.
Cons: 1. There are too many cables I don't need. The lid on the back of my case is very hard to close 'cause of all the cables.
2. I wish it was modular psu and its not.
3. I'm supposed to be able to add fans on the bottom of my HAF 932, but the cables block the air-flow. This is more of a complaint for the case, but I just think you should know.
These aren't really things you can't find out before you buy, so I won't take eggs off. But that doesn't mean I won't complain about it XD

Doesn't work

Pros: Maximum Power 900W, SLI Certified, CrossFire Ready, Connectors 1 x Main connector (24Pin), 2 x 12V(4+4Pin), 5 x Peripheral, 9 x SATA, 1 x Floppy, 2 x PCI-E 8 Pin, 4 x PCI-E 6 Pin.
Cons: Doesn't work with the EVGA motherboard that it was in a combo deal with. I thought that other people were just plugging in the wrong power plug-in, but even with using the 4+4Pin plug-in it still didn't work. Just keeps restarting my computer.(My Mobo is 132-BL-E758-TR) Fixed with a different brand PSU.
Other Thoughts: I Wish I would have taken the time to read all the reviews, but seeing how one guy said he used the 4+4Pin it worked fine I decided to buy it. The PSU is big and heavy.
