Does this PSU have SATA power connectors? The skinny long ones? Or will I need to buy an adapter?

It does have SATA connectors.  I used it with a motherboard that has two mirrored SATA hard drives and a SATA DVD RW Drive.  I believe there is one more connector available

Does the package include the screws? I can't find them in my package.

Usually the screws are supplied with the case.  If you're swapping power supplies then you'll reuse the screws from the old one. If you don't have any you'll need replacement screws. You might be able to find some at your local hardware or electronic store. Be sure to get the correct size.

I can't be certain, but I would think so.  It's a standard ATX power supply with the latest connectors.  I'm using mine with a MSI Motherboard, two SATA Hard Drives in a RAID 0 Array, one SATA Solid State Drive for the OS, and a SATA DVD RW Drive.

I honestly cannot give you a good answer.  You will have to check the available space in your HP's case.  And, you will have to make sure the cable setup is the same.

I installed this in a generic ATX case bought new for a built myself PC.  I bought a motherboard, AMD processor, 4 GB RAM, SATA DVD RW Drive, two 500 GB SATA hard drives for RAID Mirror Data Storage and a 80 GB SATA Solid State Drive for the OS.  I use this with Windows 7 Pro as a pseudo Server.

it will handle both sata an ide I do not recommend older HDD as they are prone to fail under voltage spikes I use this power supply in more than one of my computers an have yet to have any problem what so ever over the years I have used other brands an Rosewill have proven to be the most reliable

Hello Gary, need to know which motherboard is with this desktop computer, i did a google search to see what came with this model and it has a couple diffferent setups one page i found it seems this power supply would work with it but i would need to know which board you have. Also another thing i noticed with alot of the sites it shows this unit uses a MATX slimcomputer case and it wouldnt fit inside it, also there are sites with a ATX sized case as well. Just need to know what motherboard you use.
