Pros: This enclosure gives you everything you are looking for in a 3.5" enclosure. SATA connection, a full array of connections in back. The enclosure itself feels very solid and sturdy. More importantly, having dealt with a bit of hardware in the past, I very much appreciate quality hardware encluded. You won't be likely to strip out any of the screws, although I didn't opt to test the limits. My unit actually came with extra hardware just in case.
No fan, so whisper quiet (depending on the drive you invest in).
Cons: Absolutely none.
Other Thoughts: Most importantly, in regards to people complaining about the bright LED, don't worry about it one bit.
If you're assembling an external hard drive, then you're no stranger to a screwdriver, and you just might* have some electrical tape. if the LED is too bright, then simply cover it with a little electrical tape till just enough light is showing.
Otherwise, the LED can be easily disconnected or COMPLETELY removed from the enclosure (the hardware holding it in place is attached via a simple screw). The power connection is a plug, not soldered, and extremely obvious.
I personally opted to remove it all together. I can just listen closely if I want to know if its on.

Pros: Reasonably simple to install a disk, a host of connection options, and performance is good. (Only marginally slower than the internal system disk on my Macbook Pro while using it via Firewire 800 in the bechmarking I've done.) After 6 hours of straight data transfer, the casing was slightly warm... definitely not hot.
Cons: I wish the power switch were at the top and not the bottom in the back, but that's about it.
Other Thoughts: Although the description here, the Rosewill website and even the box say that it only supports 1 TB disks, I threw caution to the wind and stuck a 1.5 TB disk in it. Works fine. When I emailed Rosewill to let them know, they responded that it can actually do up to 2 TB disks, which makes more sense... it's 32-bit addressing for 512 byte blocks...
Pros: The enclosure uses the Oxford 934 chipset which is good. Also has no fan so it is quiet
Cons: Enclosure has what I believe is a power supply issue. Goes offline intermittently. I have had this problem with other enclosures in the past (different makes). My other Rosewill works fine.

Great quad-interface enclosure

Pros: - eSata & FW800 for $60 - Fanless aluminum casing provides excellent cooling and no added noise - Sturdy, well built chassis holds drive tightly
Cons: - Moderately time consuming to install a drive w/ very small screws - You have to screw the stand on or the enclosure flops around in it - Not drive swap-friendly
Other Thoughts: I got the RX81 after getting frustrated with a very slow WD MyBook enclosure with FW400. The Rosewill installation took longer than expected - mostly due to using two different screwdrivers for the various screws - but it was fairly straightforward. As soon as I plugged in to my MacBook Pro via FW800, the increase in speed was obvious. I've got a WD5000AAVS inside (the original Caviar GreenPower drive) that is only around 5400 RPM, but it is significantly faster over FW800 than my previous 7200 RPM drive was over FW400. Design-wise the RX81 is no-nonsense and very utilitarian. Great machined aluminum. Just note that it is not conducive to swapping drives frequently - for that, get the Icy Dock MB559UEB.

Excellent Enclosure

Pros: Just a all round good enclosure. I have 2 of these and both work great. This does not have a fan, so I used a green WD drive in it. The drive is not constantly running so the enclosure really does not get hot. It may if it had a different drive in it, I'm not sure.
New egg has it listed as accepting drives up to 1.5 TB, I have a 2TB drive in mine and it works just fine. Newegg should update their info.
Cons: The EXTREMELY bright light on this. It can be disabled though. Just follow the cord from the light to the board, then just unplug it. It is a bit tough but not hard.
