Getting he flexibility of an external hard drive has never been easier! Rosewill’s HD enclosure accommodates two hard drives. Each drive can be up to a whopping one terabyte (1TB, or 1,000 GB), and the enclosure supports both SATA I and II connections. Furthermore, it connects to just about any operating system through a USB 2.0 connection.
A 50mm fan keeps things running smoothly, and there's room for a power supply as large as you need. By keeping outside accessories to a minimum, this makes moving the system when needed a lot easier! Rosewill once again makes design and engineering serve your needs!
Pros: Solid construction, you can turn (the very quiet) fan on and off, the chasis comes apart easily and drives slip in perfectly. LED indicators on front are very nice. In general when I buy a cheap enclosure like this, my expectations are pretty low. This unit bucks the trend--solid simple and attractive.
Cons: none
Other Thoughts: The four screws holding the case on come out easily, but be gentle putting them back in. Finely threaded and easy to strip. That being said, I didn't have any problem.

Pros: this item does exactly what it says it does, it takes 2 drives, i put in 2 seagate 1TB drives, and formats them as either singles or striped and you then can use them as you wish, i have had them hooked to several computers, with no problems or need of any drivers

Pros: Works as described. I put in 2 WD 1 terabyte green drives. Running as 2 seperate drives for backup. Up and running in less than 15 minutes on Windows 7.
Cons: None
Other Thoughts: Wish the power switch was on front but it's easy to get to from the back.

Pros: Clean, tight, cooled.
Cons: BIG mode can't be split later.
Other Thoughts: I enjoy having a large backup space in one easy container to put in the fire safe. It would be nice to be able to use BIG (concatenated) mode, but there is just no good way to reliably recover data from one drive if the other dies. Not liking to double my chances of data loss, I use in individual (JBOD) mode, so the only benefit over two individuals is in the more compact package.

Pros: Very easy to install & configure. One gotcha is that if you follow the manual, you'll put the cover back on before setting the mode switch. Unit is well made.
Cons: No cons to date. This Rosewill case replaces a Galaxy Metalgear dual bay unit. The Galaxy failed after about a year... yet the drives tested fine with Seatools. BTW, no response from Galaxy after 10 days (I sent tech support email as site requests)...
Other Thoughts: I'll see if this continues to work as well as it does now... if so, I plan on buying at least 2 more..
