1 out of 5 eggsI must have received a faulty device

Pros: 10 ports.
It charges my wireless headphones.

Cons: 10 ports that don't work.
No drivers to ensure compatibility issues will not be a problem.
I am very unhappy with this product and will probably go with a different manufacturer all together if this is not resolved.

Other Thoughts: I followed the steps to setting it up per the user manual,
After about 2 minutes of the computer running the device decides to reboot, rendering everything connected to it useless. It reboots about every 2 minutes or less.

I didn't buy a USB Hub just to charge devices, I need it to transfer Data as well.
At this point I would not recommend this product to anyone.

2 out of 5 eggsInexpensive but sometimes flakey

Pros: Picked it up on one of their sales as it was relatively inexpensive and provided a lot of ports and was powered.

Cons: Attached usb devices seem to intermittently be unable to reconnect. Most commonly my USB track ball. I'll be using it and it will all of a sudden stop working. Unplugging it and reconnecting it will always get it to start working again. Can't find any specific trigger but can be days between problems or happen a couple times in an hour. Watching the led on the hub it seems like the trackball tries to do some power saving when it is "idle" as the led will go out after a short period of inactivity. Most of the time this isn't a problem as it comes right back to life when I do something but occasionally that doesn't seem to happen. I've also had the same thing happen with a usb card reader and other peripherals but most common and annoying with my trackball. Just ended up plugging the trackball directly into the computer to not have to deal with the issue on it. Wouldn't recommend for any peripherals that see regular use but works fine for the collection of things you only use occasionally.

4 out of 5 eggsRosewill 10 Port hub

Pros: 10 usb ports
External power

Cons: Sometimes when I have a lot of flash drives/external hard drives plugged in, it will randomly shut off. Probably because of all the power it is sucking up. Not a big deal though. Flash drives by themselves should be fine as well as devices such as printers, etc.

Other Thoughts: I have no clue what the things on the side are for. They pull out of the side, but have no obvious purpose

5 out of 5 eggsDesktop Hub

Pros: Basic black fits my Silver and Black theme on my desk. Has 10 user ports, each with an indicator LED along with a power on LED. The supplied USB and power cable plug into the back. The LED's are bright enough without being too bright. I like the built in cable management guides that pull out from the sides. It functions well, even with all ports loaded. Have owned it for the better part of a year with no trouble what so ever.

Cons: Like all small plastic hubs its too light, so the cables can pull it out of position. Solved that by putting a couple of lava sparkle lamps on it. I wish the indicator LED's were over the top of their respective ports instead of along side them. Once you have a row of cables plugged in the LED's are mostly obscured unless you look straight at it. The power supply is too small at four amps to run all the ports at max rated power. But then again I'm not trying to charge anything and I have more than enough power for the USB powered devices I use so I'm happy.

Other Thoughts: I would have liked it better if six or seven of the user ports were on the back instead of all on the front.

4 out of 5 eggsPerfect for what i needed

Pros: Yay expansion

Cons: Why didnt they do it the smart way and make the power adapter powerful enough for ALL 10 ports

Other Thoughts: only use 8 ports things slow down after you plug in more....

5 out of 5 eggsLove it!

Pros: What is not to love about 10 ports! Indicator LED lights on this are helpful. This is how i discovered a short (open) in my one USB device. its about as small as you can get for 10 ports. I've owned this for over a year without any issues. Everything plugs into it, and it is concealed behind my desk without taking up a lot of space.

Cons: I mounted this behind my desk, I wish it had those nifty holes on the side, so i could mount it with screws. I was going to do double-sided tape but didn't want a sticky mess, and it usually doesn't work with this sort of thing.
