Rosewill 25GB 4X BD-R 50 Packs Spindle Blank Blu-ray Media Silver Surface Model RCDM-10009 - OEM

Pros: Haven't had any problems. The price was reasonable when I bought them.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: The label side is totally blank silver colored. The media identifies as Philips, the same as the Optical Quantum BD-R media I got last time.

Pros: Great! A couple of coasters, but that could have been my fault. Burns at 4x on the Samsung BD-R. I set and forget (can't expect the 23 useable GB to burn in three minutes).

Cons: I wish they had some labeling so I wouldn't get them mixed up with other types of media

Other Thoughts: The labeling isn't really a "con" as I print my own labels anyway afterwards, but we'll see how these hold up in longevity. I purchased them on sale and it was worth it...I hope they go on sale again soon so I can get more.

Pros: Disk reads Phillips R04 on this 50 disc cake box (purchase March 2013).

The discount coupon prompted me to try it out. The R04 is also what was ID'd on my Optical Quantum discs. R04s burn great with my LG burner. NEVER a coaster on the R04's

Cons: There is NO stamping on the front. Just a silver metal face. You'll have to WRITE "blue ray" or some such so you can identify them from a CD or DVD disc. Otherwise, there is no way to tell what it is.

Other Thoughts: I don't know if the smaller batches have a different disc ID, but the 50 disc cake box is the R04

Pros: As soon as I get a hard drive I run an error-check on it for bad sectors. Out of 5 drives none had bad sectors. Definitely a worthwhile drive in my opinion. I have yet to set it up in a RAID.

Cons: None

Pros: I bought these on sale for $34.99, I only burned 6 Blu-Ray Home videos so far, burned fast and tested each one. They all are perfect.

Cons: There are no labels of any kind on the disk, so if you have CD's and or DVD's with no labels either, you have to keep them separated. At least label the spindle for each to keep from getting them mixed up.

Other Thoughts: This is the first time using Rosewill of any kind, so I was not sure if these would be a waste of time and money, they work and I am happy.

Pros: I've purchased several 50pks of these Rosewill discs and they have burned flawlessly for me on my 2 LG burners! See my other post on 8-15-12 for more info. These discs can really be a great buy especially when on Sale! I recommended these discs to a neighbor and he is very happy with them as well!

Cons: The only real cons I might say is that as someone else mentioned, there is NO blu-ray logo on the disc, so it is possible to confuse them with other media - although I don't have that problem. The other possible negative is that they have a shiny surface that does attract fingerprints somewhat - the surface DOES take well to magic marker and labeling if you use labels on your discs.

Other Thoughts: As I've mentioned, this are a great buy. While these discs can burn much faster than 4X, I use ImgBurn to set the WRITE speed to 4X just to make sure I have good quality burns. If the discs had a MATTE surface, then you wouldn't see the fingerprints that can show up, but for the price (when on Sale) I can live with that.

Pros: No Coasters, Work Great, Great for Backups, or Big Video Files.

Cons: None.

Cons: Make lousy coasters,non-absorbent and slippery, have yet to get a burn to work on three burner models

Pros: ive had only 2 coaster and it could be part my fault because i had 2 different burning programs open, i was also lightscribing some dvds. but these discs are really good! i just wish that blank blu rays werent soo freaking expensive

Pros: Quick shipping, free shipping, and a great price during the 2012 Black Friday Sale.

Cons: The wrong item was delivered. I ordered Model#RCDM-10009 (Item#N82E16817182258) but received a 25-pack in my shipment. The bar code and label reflect the item I ordered, but the actual item was incorrect. After contacting customer service, I was told to provide proof with pictures and a description. After providing proof, the CS agent told me it could take several business days to process, update, and contact me back, not including shipping me the correct item (which was not even guaranteed to be available).

Other Thoughts: Not a happy customer after this purchase.
