5 out of 5 eggsLong Lasting Beast

Pros: Going Strong for 7 years now, never had a problem with it. Love the modular design.

Cons: The only Con I have is that when I bought it seven years ago, I never received my rebate from Xion.

Other Thoughts: Soon I will need to replace this beast (which has served me well for a long time) but that's only because it won't have the wattage to push my next upgrade

5 out of 5 eggsStill going since 12/3/2007

Pros: This bad boy has made it through 3 systems now and is sill going strong! Right now it's powering an OC'd 2600k i5, two Asus GTX550's, 6 fans, 2HDD, 1SSD, always wired KB and mouse, all USB's occupied and on occasion the DVD drive.
The old rig was a power hog with blower fans almost running max all the time, plus all the fans built on components, lights, stupid shhh, SLI 6600GT's 2HDD's, just a mess of power consumption running 24/7

Cons: Only diss I have is that like Bob below mentioned you'll more than likely need to purchase some extension cables if you intend to use this in an 8-pin rig. I had to extend all power connectors because of a bottom mount PSU location. Also the PCI connections sometimes go out but it's skrooed (Really? I had to edit that word) in tight. Idk

Other Thoughts: I'll never regret buying this PSU, even if it shorts out and fries everything I bought, it really doesn't owe me much for how often it was probably maxed out.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat power supply

Pros: Easy to install nothing extra to buy, the wires were all perfect length, nothing to short for my setup, great quality for the connectors, especially liked the molex connector ends, squeeze them down and they push the connector off very ingenious idea. Put it on my PSU tester and it read all voltage was good, I will update if anything happends with it.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Very nice color to the PSU case

4 out of 5 eggsGood power supply

Pros: It looks good and performed well. The connections are nice and high quality.

Cons: Some of the wiring was short, some was way too long. But it all fit fine. I was just a little nervous about some of them.

5 out of 5 eggsgoing strong after 2 years!

Pros: I bought this PSU on 10/26/06 and it is still going strong. I have had zero problems and have noticed nothing strange or out of the ordinary. The first rig it was running a e6300, 1 7200rpm hd, and a 7900gs. Today I have it running a Phenom 2 940, 2 7200rpm hd's, and a ati 4850.

Cons: Only 2 cons, 4/8 pin power connector is short especially if switching to 8pin. and the 24 pin connector is sort as well.

Other Thoughts: Just buy some extenders and you will be fine.
Phenom II 940 BE
400gb and 80gb 7200rpm hdd's
ati 4850 512mb

5 out of 5 eggsBetter than stated

Pros: Pros, i know many will not like the truth i speak, but it has ran my rig
q9300 @ 3.2ghz, 4x1gb, dfi 680i, xfx 9800gx2, 1tb
FOLDING f@h over 72 hours straight, not 1 hiccup in the 12v line

Cons: the cpu power pin was short, i modded the line to be longer, 24 pin short as well, this psu wasnt designed for an antec 900

Other Thoughts: Alot of people flip, using its name against it, of it wil supernova your system.
These people have not ran the psu, do not dis something you have not tried
my system is 100% stable, like i said, no ripples
i would GLADLY buy more of these, though i do not se fit for the price

5 out of 5 eggsVery nice

Pros: Very reliable thus far. Can handle a system 2.6ghz processor, 2gigs of ram, 7200rpm HD, nVidia 9800 GTX, a higher-end Motherboard and a light-up computer case and keyboard after over 1 year with almost constant use with ease. I love modularity.

Cons: None that I can think of.

Other Thoughts: I highly recommend it. However, if you go dual video cards or anything much higher than the specs I posted in Pros, you should probably go with a PSU with a higher wattage to be on the safe side. Always keep in mind that these things age, and get less effective over time.
