Power packed to the core, the ENERMAX Modu82+ EMD525AWT 525W power supply is ideal for your multi-GPU gaming system. It is SLI, CrossFire and Quad Core CPU ready, and will add real boost to your beast machine. This modular PSU is designed to deliver maximum power with minimum heat. Instead of a small fan on the back of the unit, there is a huge cooling fan on the bottom and the back panel is a minimally obstructive hexagonal mesh interrupted only by the power connector and switch.

The modular design makes cable management easier. The main power cables are permanently attached while all of the peripheral cables all plug into the back of the PSU. The cables are all wrapped in mesh for a cleaner installation.

Triple +12V rails ensure a balanced power output for your system no matter what the load. 6+2P (8P) PCI-E connectors is featured for PCI Express 2.0 / DXX next generation graphic cards. Ready for the future, the EMD525AWT features 12Pin modular design for possibly upcoming new CPU's and graphics with 10 or 12Pin connectors. With its 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified, so less energy is wasted as heat or interference, delivering more power to your hungry system!

  • newegg ATX12V v2.3 Compatible Compatible with the ATX12V v2.3 standard, the Enermax MODU82+ EMD525AWT power supply provides maximum power stability to drive the processors as well as other system components.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent product support

Pros: I installed this power supply about two months ago and just got around to putting a graphics card in several days ago. The six prong cable would not plug into the power supply unit. I went to their website and logged in and told them the problem and got a tech support ticket.

To be honest I was expecting the kind of service I've become accustomed to ordering computer parts. Slow.
Especially when it's to resolve a problem with the product.

To my surprise I received an email about 6 hours later asking me for my address and saying "...this one may have been a bit off specs...".

I sent them my address. Then I thought I might as well take that video card out as this is going to be a wait and I want to use that computer.

Not the next day, but the day after that, I heard someone on my porch. By the time I got to the door there was nobody there. But there was a box sitting by my door. It was my cables!

Cons: The faulty cable made it through final inspection.

Other Thoughts: They hadn't messed around at all, they just put the cables in a box and sent them out, I don't know, either overnight or second day, Federal Express.

It turned out the problem was that the holes were slightly too small. Now I've got the new ones and I fixed the original ones by sticking a sharp object in the holes to stretch them out a little. Now they work fine. I didn't do it before because I was afraid I'd screw them up and then the company wouldn't take them back or something. Who knows what they'll do to get out of having to do something. But Enermax wasn't like that at all. The did the right thing.

I live in Hawaii is the reason I've become accustomed to sitting and waiting for my orders for so long. But Enermax came through like a champ and I am so pleased that I'm posting this note to let others know about my positive experience with them.

I feel that a good company deserves a good word.

5 out of 5 eggsNice and Quiet

Pros: Very quiet, very efficient. Everything checks out on the PSU on arrival. Love the modular cables and included velcro cable organizers.

Cons: Wish they made a lower watt PSU in the same modular design and efficiency - I didn't need that high of wattage.

Other Thoughts: Did I say quiet - I should say really quiet at the loads I use it at ( roughly 60% load when proc. runs 100%)

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Value Customer,

Thank you for choosing Enermax products. We do make lower watt PSU for these series at 425watts. You can find it at NewEgg.com as well, here is the link to it http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817194031. Thank you.

Sincerely,

Team Enermax USA

5 out of 5 eggsBest Ever Owned

Pros: Coolest, quietest, most stable power supply I have ever owned. The build quality is outstanding with plenty of modular cable options. The spare cable pouch and Velcro straps that are included are a nice bonus demonstrating a commitment to a complete, high-quality product

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Purchase for use in a HTPC. It's not just quiet, it's silent, even when powering my onboard class D 100x5 watt amplifier. It is worth the money, so don't hesitate to buy.
