Power packed to the core, the Enermax Galaxy EVO EGX1250EWT 1250W power supply is ideal for your multi-GPU gaming system. It is SLI, CrossFire and Quad Core CPU ready, and will add real boost to your beast machine. This modular PSU is designed to deliver maximum power with minimum heat. Instead of a small fan on the back of the unit, there's a large 135mm fan on the bottom, and the back panel is a minimally obstructive hexagonal mesh interrupted only by the power connector and switch.

The modular design makes cable management easier. The main power cables are permanently attached, while all of the peripheral cables all plug into the back of the PSU. The cables are all wrapped in mesh for a cleaner installation.

Six +12V rails ensure a balanced power output for your system no matter what the load. Dual 6+2P (8P) PCI-E connectors are featured for PCI Express 2.0 / DXX next generation graphic cards. Ready for the future, the EGX1250EWT features four 12P sockets for possibly upcoming new CPU's and graphics with 10 or 12Pin connectors. With its 80 PLUS BRONZE certification, less energy is wasted as heat or interference, delivering more power to your hungry system!

  • newegg ATX12V and EPS12V Compatible Compatible with the ATX12V and EPS12V standards, the Enermax Galaxy EVO EGX1250EWT power supply provides maximum stable power to drive the processors as well as other components for desktop and even sever computer systems.
  • newegg 1250W Maximum Power The Enermax Galaxy EVO EGX1250EWT power supply provides a maximum power of 1250W to deliver safe, reliable output for ultra high-end computer systems. Six industry-leading independent +12v rails are provided for more stable and safer power output.
  • newegg 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified The 80 PLUS BRONZE certified power supply provides high power efficiency of at least 82% at any load between 20% and 100%, saving your money on your electrical bill, reducing heat in your computer's system and prolonging its life.
  • newegg Cool Performance and Silent Operation A large 135mm fan creates heavy duty airflow to draw heat away from the power supply enclosure while an intelligent fan speed controller automatically adjusts the fan speed according to the system temperature for minimized operation noise.
  • newegg Modular Cable Design The modular cable design allows use of only the cables you need resulting in improved internal airflow and reduced system clutter.
  • newegg Future Ready The Enermax Galaxy EVO EGX1250EWT power supply features 12-pin modular connectors, presenting endless combinations and possibilities for future CPU and graphic needs.

5 out of 5 eggsPSU

Pros: works great, had it for almost 2 years and had no issues, the on/off switch is nice (something i'm not used to seeing). also very quiet, never had a problem with the fan or power flickering or turning itself off. All-in-all seems like a reliable and good PSU.

Cons: no real cons that i can think of.

4 out of 5 eggsSOLID!

Pros: -It Works.
-1250W
-80 Plus

Cons: - 1 egg
-PCIE Cables needs to be longer. too short.
-PCIE Should be modular too but still too short.

Other Thoughts: My opinion:
since it is $200+. Every cable should have been Modular except for motherboard power.

5 out of 5 eggsHigh performance power supply.

Pros: I've had this power supply for over a year and it's great. I have a high-end build and 1250W is a must. Also, its modular! Great for cable mgmt.

Cons: Sometimes makes a tapping sound. It's annoying! I actually open my case, bang it/w the back of a screwdriver, and it goes away. Doesn't happen very often.

Other Thoughts: Any high-end build needs 1200W or more. This is one of the best power supplies you can get. Room to grow if you SLI or add many drives in the future.

3 out of 5 eggsGets the job done.

Pros: Worked for a year without any issues.

Cons: Stopped working after a year.

Other Thoughts: I don't know if I got a lemon. I bought 2 of these. One of them is dead after a year. The other is still working but likes to turn off every now and again. Trying to repair both hopefully I just got the bad ones. 5 year warranty though.

4 out of 5 eggspower corrupts...in a good way.

Pros: Solid, stable power.
Nice and quiet (not silent, but not shuttle launch at full tilt).

Has zero issues with the 4HDDs, One ODD, i7-980x, two XFX 5970 Black Editions and all the USB devices.

Been a huge fan of the modular cable designs for a long time.

Cons: Had to RMA the first one (NewEgg rocks) because the internal fan had an imbalance that caused it to rattle when the speed picked up.

Other Thoughts: Really wish PSU makers would find another material to wrap the cables in. This stuff is hard to really shove around to make sure there's good airflow.

Also with the Asus Rampage III Formual's main board connection placed right next to the 3rd RAM bank, it makes it a hassle to move that bundle around - The Zalman Z-MACHINE GT900 case doesn't have great built in cable management which contributes to that.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat PSU

Pros: - Semi-modular (Even if they say modular... Complete modular is no cables attached to it at all. But it doesn't really matter in this case because you will probably use all those already atttached anyway.

- 1250 watts.

- 6 rails.

- Working very stable and lots of power for everything you can think of.

- Fan continue to run for 30 seconds when you turn your pc off.

- Fan is VERY quiet and PSU keeps very cool.

- Come with a cord holder to be sure it won't unplug accidentally.

- Nice status light.

- Come with the most complete choice of cables out there for any high end rig and/or expandability.

- 6 nice velcro strap to attach your cables. (Very usefull)

- Received mine with an extra fan in the box included for the anniversary of Enermax.

Cons: - Cables are sleeved only untill you reach the first connector. (which is only a minor thing, but a little odd anyway)

Other Thoughts: - The problem this PSU already had with some slow boot motherboard (Mainly Gigabyte and EVGA) was fixed by Enermax a long time ago and all the new models are fine and work perfectly. I use mine with a Gigabyte GA-X58-UD9 without any problem at all.

This PSU is probably the best out there that you can get.
