1 out of 5 eggsBad Unit

Pros: It works and was quiet.

Cons: I bought this after reading the great reviews here on newegg, I guess I got the lemon. After a little over a month the fan is making a grinding noise on startup and then quiets down and now it makes noise intermittently as well. Called the company and they want to charge me for a new one and then when I receive it send this one back at my expense and refund me when they get it. So much for good customer service or standing by your product. The shipping will cost almost half what I paid for it from NY to CA. It is clearly a defective unit, they should pay shipping back to them. This is my first time buying this brand. Time to buy a new brand and stay away from Enermax in the future!!!

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Rick,

We apologize for the inconvenience. If this product is under warranty, we would not ask to charge for the same model number. Please contact us via support e-mail@ support@ecomastertek.com with your RA#, we will get this resolved ASAP.

Thank you,
Customer Service Team

5 out of 5 eggsGood all around.

Pros: The cables are all a good length for my mid-tower case, they seem quite durable, and the fan is quiet. Runs my computer at full blast without a hitch!

Cons: The cables can be a little stiff, so if you ever needed to really twist them around you might be in for some trouble. The stiffness also made it a little harder to bundle the unused wires up.

Other Thoughts: Had several molex plugs free by the time my build was done.

5 out of 5 eggsGood PSU

Pros: This is a great power supply. Good build quality and the cable sheathing is excellent. Runs very quietly as well. Has a built in feature that runs the fan for an extra 30 seconds to dissipate any built up heat.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I have this in a bottom PSU mount case (Cooler Master HAF 912) and have had no trouble with heating at all. Stays cool and quiet. I was a little apprehensive when I bought this as there were only 7-8 reviews, but all were positive so I got it and I couldn't be happier with it. If you are looking for a 600-700 Watt PSU, you cant go wrong with this one.

5 out of 5 eggsQuality, Stable Power Supply

Pros: The unit looks simple and solid.
There are plenty of connectors (at least for me - verified the # before making the purchase).
Provides stable power, have not had any problems.

Cons: More to do with my skill than that of the power supply, but I had a hard time trying to make the cables fit in my case without interfering with the other hardware.
My case is average size, nothing big, and I do not have a lot of hardware that needs all the extra connectors (yet). So I have extra cables in my case at the moment.

Not taking an egg for this (more my issue and nothing wrong with the PSU), but it could be good to know for smaller cases without a lot of hardware.

Other Thoughts: This replaced a PSU that came bundled with a case. In comparison, this thing in whisper quiet. I can't hear it over the other fans in my machine (The old PSU was the only thing I could hear).

I got this in preparation to upgrade the rest of my machine soon, as currently I do not need this much power. The 80+ bronze is a nice feature though, so even using less power it is more efficiently used (over 20%).

Current CPU: AMD Athlon II X3 450 - 3.2 Ghz
Current GPU: AMD/ATI HD 5670 1GB

5 out of 5 eggsWorks well

Pros: not hard to install if you know how to install power supplies and run the wiring. Quiet.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Replaced power supply that died on me after 7 years. This hooked right up and worked fine from first power on. No issues thus far.

5 out of 5 eggsPower Supply

Pros: Quiet, has more than enough power for my pc confirguration, and open bottom with fan which improves air circulation inside the pc and power supply.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Very fast shipping. I ordered on Friday the first of February and it was waiting for me when I got home from work on Monday the 4th. Not sure how they did that, but it was very nice to have so quickly.

5 out of 5 eggsFantastic PSU

Pros: Worked perfectly right out of the box. I have had no problems with power delivery. A hidden gem in my opinion. It also looks great in my case.

Cons: None at this time.

Other Thoughts: Not modular but I knew that when I bought it.
Overall: Buy it.

5 out of 5 eggsSolid so far - fan does wonders for cooling

Pros: Sheathing is unexpectedly high quality
Solid connectors
Huge cooling fan moves a lot of air
Totally quiet in my case

Cons: Lack of shielding above the fan seems fragile at first glance
No lights

Other Thoughts: Rock solid and completely silent so far. The fan makes a huge difference in case cooling - pulls most of my GPU heat out the bottom of my case.

5 out of 5 eggsI have the Poweeeeeeeeeeeeer

Pros: This purchase bent my usual rule of only buying highly rated and well-reviewed (that is, they also have been reviewed many places) products.

I was only able to find two foreign'ish sites that reviewed ENP650AWT B in depth, but both had good things to say. I can't complain, and for full disclosure 1) wouldn't know how to objectively assess the performance of my PSU, anyway and 2) found that my old standby PSU brand, Seasonic, had products that were experiencing many negative reviews lately.

Cons: None so far. PC powers on, stay on when it's supposed to. Can game without issues.

Other Thoughts: New Build, Assembled 11/30:
[Chip] Intel Core i5-3570K Ivy Bridge 3.4GHz
[Cooler] XIGMATEK Gaia SD1283
[PSU] ENERMAX NAXN 82+ ENP650AWT B 650W
[Motherboard] ASRock Z77 Extreme3 LGA 1155 Intel Z77
[Memory] G.SKILL Sniper Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3 1866
[Case] COOLER MASTER HAF 912
[Storage] SAMSUNG 840 Series MZ-7TD120BW 120 GB SSD
