Reliable
- Pros: I bought this PSU back in 2007. It powered an overclocked opy 165 + 4870, and now it's powering a 4.0Ghz Core i7 920, 4870 1gb, Asus p6t, 4 HDs, 8 fans, 2 UV cathodes, a fan controller, DVD drive, 6GB of ram, and a c-media 8788 based sound card.
Have yet to find a limit for this PSU, should be able to accommodate my 4780x2 in trifire with my 4870 when the time comes.
- Cons: Lots of wires. I don't know if it's a con or not, but the wires are long and there are a lot of them. If you have a smaller case it might be a problem, but I have a full ATX, so it's great and everything can reach everything.
- Other Thoughts: The wires are almost all sleeved, but I got some UV Reactive EZ sleeve to sleeve the sleeved wires together to reduce clutter.
Also, 60amps on the 12v rail is awesome.
Couldn't ask for more... really.
- Pros: Great power supply. Great heat dissipation, tons of cables. Everything you'd need to build a supercomputer.
- Cons: None
Ok for a month.
- Pros: It worked great for about 1-2 months then it just gave up. It powered my system well I must've gotten a defective item. But my problem is being solved easily due to Silverstones great Rma warranty.
- Cons: Did'nt work for a long time I'm only running q6600 and 8800 gt with 2 gigs of ram. Manual doesn't include information on the beeping i got in my psu.
- Other Thoughts: I HOPE my power supply was a defective and not the true potential of this 750 watt psu.
