The 1000W ST1000 from Silverstone provides the power you need for your most intense applications. It can continuously deliver the full 1000W at 80-87% efficiency, over dual +12V rails for balanced power distribution. The auto-switching input can handle all common voltages so all you have to do is plug it in.
The power connectors are fully modular, letting you use only the connections you need. Any extra cables go into a handy carry bag, so they’re still available when you upgrade. The cables are all sheathed to de-clutter the inside of the case, enhancing airflow.
There is a 135mm fan on the bottom of the PSU to move extreme amounts of air to keep everything cool. The back panel is a honeycomb mesh broken only by a switch, the power plug and an indicator LED for virtually unrestricted airflow. Go ahead; build the system of your dreams, the ST1000 can handle it.

Pros: PSU has worked as expected. I like the modular function and unlike some reviews I've read about modular PSUs, these seem to be well built and no risk of disconnecting without it being on purpose (my first modular PSU).
Cons: None so far - knock on wood, hopefully I won't have any problems.
Other Thoughts: PSU was a big concern for me, my last one has caused me some issues I think in hindsight for a while...I didn't want to mess around and thus got this 1000 watt one. Buying any part, but especially PSU is un-nerving reading reviews - seems like you can't win, every good PSU that has lots of positive reviews also has negatives. It's a bit of random luck so I'd say don't over-think it too much once you find a PSU that fits you and has decent reviews. There will always be some factory failures, you just have to hope you're not one of them and if you are work with the supplier/manufacturer to get the situation rectified.

Pros: What a great setup. I have never used a Cable management system such as this, but now i will never go back to the old kind where you have a million wires YOU DON'T NEED piled into the corner of my case. This baby is powering Crossfie Setup with no problem and I barely hear it running.
Cons: 0, great product.
Other Thoughts: I would recommend this to anyone trying to vreate a high powered system running either Nvidia SLI or Crossfire by ATI. 1000W of power to me is more than enough for what you will need.

Pros: Full Modular Design 6 PCI-E 6-pin connectors more than enough amps to support 2 x GTX 260's 4 HDDs, AMD Phenom II X4 940
Cons: None so far
Other Thoughts: Didn't buy the PSU here, bought it elsewhere, but felt that it deserved a review a the egg.

Egg-cellent Power Supply

Pros: Modular design a total plus! What you don't need doesn't have to be there. Rock solid and stable under high load demands.
Cons: A little pricey, but you get what you pay for!
Other Thoughts: I've had this for almost a year now and I have had ZERO problems with it. I don't know what problems the guy with the 8800's had, but I have twin 8800 gts running 24/7 since I built this thing and have had no issues. I also have it plugged into a surge protector (and no, it's not a "whole house" protector) and have had no incidents. This is an egg-cellent power supply. I did not purchase mine from new egg, but at the time I needed one immediately. If you get this power supply, you shouldn't have any worries. My computer: Intel i7 920, Gigabyte EX-58-UD5 mobo, 12 gigs OCZ Triple Channel High Performance DDR3 1600 (all bought from newegg), 3 500 gig western digital caviar HD's, 1 western digital external 1 TB hd, 7 120mm cooling fans (green L.E.D.), two L.E.D. temp/speed controllers, 2 cd/dvd/lightscribe drives, 2 nVidia 8800 GTS (for now) all settings at maximum, running Win XP Pro 64 bit and Win Vista Ultimate 64 bit.

Pros: Unit is fully Modualar. Have had no problems at all,
Cons: Wish that they would have included a cable for molex with only 1 power connector(not a biggie), PRICE (Wish power supplies of this wattage and caliber didn't cost so much)
Other Thoughts: I bought this power supply with intentions on using it for my next build in a couple of years.
