The ST50EF-SC from Silverstone deliver 500W of power to your system so you have plenty of juice for gaming, file-serving or both. The dual +12V rails provide a balanced output, and an Active PFC and >80% efficiency ensure minimal power waste which keeps the PSU cool.

It is equipped with dual 6-pin PCIe connectors. 6 SATA connectors can tie in all of your high speed drives. The cables are partially mesh sleeved to increase air flow and to make management easier.

The cables are shorter than normal so that they don't take up extra space in SFF and Micro-ATX cases. Now you no longer have to worry about where to cram the extra length, and what it's going to do to air flow in the case.

  • newegg ATX12V v2.2 Compatible Compatible with the ATX12V v2.2 standard, the Silverstone ST50EF-SC power supply provides maximum power stability to drive the latest Intel and AMD processors as well as other system components.
  • newegg 500W Maximum Power A maximum power of 500W delivers safe, reliable output for mainstream computer systems.
  • newegg 80 Plus Certified The 80 PLUS certified power supply provides high power efficiency of at least 80% at any load between 20% and 100%, saving your money on your electrical bill, reducing heat in your computer's system and prolonging its life.
  • newegg Efficient Cooling A 120mm cooling fan plus hexagon cutouts increases overall airflow in the power supply enclosure and helps remove heat from the chassis simultaneously.
  • newegg Dual PCI-E Connectors With two 6-pin PCI-E connectors, the Silverstone ST50EF-SC is ideal for building up a SLI or CrossFire gaming system.

5 out of 5 eggstroublefree & quiet

Pros: Quiet, lots of juice, short cables for micro atx cases & a nice big, quiet cooling fan

Cons: short cable length for some med-full sized towers

Other Thoughts: this is perfect for my silverstone micro-atx case. I could see where a full size tower might pose a problem as I considered another one as a replacement for an anemic PS I have in a med tower. the cables wouldn't be quite long enough. hopefully people building a larger system will read the reviews stating short cable length. I don't really consider it a con though

5 out of 5 eggsWell made & quiet

Pros: How smart to have a short cabled p/s for a micro atx case. The quality is excellent and because of this I will try other products by silverstone.

Cons: No cons.

Other Thoughts: Maybe if this was modular it could be even more compact because you could remove the un-needed cables.

Pros: Makes power like a power making power supply should. So I won't have to spank it. Quiet too.

Cons: Somewhat short cables. Tom Cruise short, or mebey Danny Devito short.

5 out of 5 eggsGood buy

Pros: Very quiet unit. Fit very nicely in an aged 831GM Gateway. Plenty of connections. Wire bundles are braided together. Big plus for trying to tuck the unused connectors out of sight.

Cons: Bundles are very stiff, but with a little work become flexible.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Fits inside a X-Qpack 1 when combined with a 170mm long optical drive (Sony-NEC, Lite-On, LG) with no real problems. Quiet unit, comparable to other well established quiet power supplies. Short cables for small cases with enough connectors for most mATX builds out there.

Cons: Only two SATA connectors. Some people may need 3+, but there are adapters. Cables are kind of stiff fresh out of the box, but a firm hand can easily overcome this. Not modular, though very few modular 140mm long power supplies even exist.

Other Thoughts: The reinforcement bar on the top of the unit can be removed if need be. In my opinion it's the best power supply for X-Qpack cases.

5 out of 5 eggsslceso you are in luck

Pros: Quiet and cool very stable PSU

Cons: No more then I already mention in my first rewiew.

Other Thoughts: The SILVERSTONE SST-ST60F 600W Power Supply is a modular cable PSU that you can buy optional (Short Cables) but if you check the reviews are not as good as the 7 we have on this unit.well 8 now.Again Thanks Newegg

4 out of 5 eggsGood for SFF...

Pros: Short cables, *Green* and Quiet...

Cons: The only con is that the SATA connectors are too short in between each other... The cable itself is long enough to reach the HDD's but then you can only connect one because of the shortness, at least in my application... The thing is my application IS SUGO 03!!! No biggie, as I just used molex connectors that I had lying around...

Other Thoughts: 4 stars for the above mentioned reason...

5 out of 5 eggsgreat for SFF..

Pros: Quiet, and ample power for just about any config, great quality

Cons: I know modular is regarded as less reliable, but I would really have helped me optimize my SFF installation

Other Thoughts: Used with SG-03 case, NT-06 Lite Cooler, GA-MA69GM-SH2 mobo. It's way overkill for my system, but I wanted to make sure the I could do the NT06 fanless install that is described on the SS website.I was able to tuck all of the extra cables above the psu behind the 5-1/4 drive, but it's tight. Modular would have been ideal, but it still works. I probably would have been in trouble with the regular cable length.

5 out of 5 eggsVrey Pleased

Pros: SHORT CABLES,QUIET,Silverstone quality

Cons: All depends on how you look at it.The 8 pin P4 CPU cable was just 3 inches too short for mt Lian Li case with the DFI BloodIron MOBO but I ordered a extention for it and it works great.

Other Thoughts: I thank the reviewers below for pointing out that this model PSU had short cables. Thanks guys and Newegg for allowing us to post our reviews on the website. It really helps when we spend as much money on parts as we do.All in all I happy with this PSU and will buy again if needed.
