The ST50F from Silverstone delivers 500W of power to your system so you have plenty of juice for gaming, file-serving or both. The dual +12V rails provide a balanced output. An Active PFC and >80% efficiency ensure minimal power waste, which keeps the PSU cool.
It is equipped with dual 6-pin PCIe connectors. There are also 6 SATA connectors for all of your high speed drives. The cables are partially mesh sleeved to increase air flow and to make management easier.

- Pros: Affordable, 500W, good amps/rails. Volts are good.
- Cons: Has an 8 pin ATX_12V connector...it doesn't split in half like some. I plugged half of it into my motherboard (Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3L) with one half sticking out to the side. I'm sure that wouldn't work on some motherboards will a capacitor or something in the way. Other than that, this thing is great.
- Other Thoughts: I have an E2180 overclocked to 3Ghz, a hard drive, a dvd burner, an Nvidia 6600 and the other usual parts. I can't wait to stick my 8800GT in here, I have no doubts it will power it fine.
ST50F
- Pros: Easily powers my system: E6550 @ 3.2GHz, 4GB of DDR2 800, and my single 8800GTS 640MB.
- Cons: None, though I've only had it for about 3 weeks.
- Other Thoughts: Silverstone is definitely a reliable brand for power supplies.

Works
- Pros: Has all the connectors that I need with enough to spare for additional future devices, delivers the juice that I need, isn't too loud, looks good.
- Cons: Cords are somewhat long, which might present a cable management problem depending on size and layout of case you're installing it in. Happened to work out fine for me.
- Other Thoughts: Came with 4+4 pin ATX12V connectors.
Works great (but doesn't match specs)
- Pros: Had all the features I wanted. Plenty of connectors for current setup and future expansion. Very quiet.
- Cons: Not really a con, probably a pro for some folks -- see other thoughts.
Well okay, they could've dropped the price another 10 bucks or something. I'm cheap.
- Other Thoughts: Bought it to go with an ASUS P5Q Pro, which requires a 24 pin ATX and 8 pin EATX, and that's what the ST50F specs say. A little surprised when it came with a 20+4 connector and a 4+4 connector. Everything plugged in just fine after I scratched my head long enough. Running fine. New version or something? (earlier review comments on non-splittable 24-pin/8-pin plugs)
