Cramming great power in a compact body, the Athena Power AP-MP4ATX47FE Micro SFX PSU is designed for mini-ATX systems and mini servers. High in efficiency, and low in noise and ripple, this PSU supports a dual core processor, and is compatible with i7 and Xeon motherboards. And built with dual fans for efficient and quiet cooling, this power supply ensures an outstanding experience for your everyday use.
The Micro SFX DesignMicro SFX power supplies are known mostly as a replacement power supply, but it has now been upgraded and can be used for mini-ATX cases, custom built computers, mini-servers, and more. With the increase of wattage and efficiency, the micro SFX is a conventional PSU that can be used for multiple purposes.
Designed for custom built PCs, mini-servers, and HTPCs.This 470-watt PSU will support the most current ATX motherboards, including the latest EPS-12V Xeon and Intel Core I7 motherboards. It features an 8 Pin EPS-12V to support Dual CPU Xeon M/B, Dell P6 (6pin), and AUX 6pin for Dell PCs, and HP Video Power Connector for HP PCs. Its dual PCI-E 8-pin connectors support high-end SLI and ATI graphic cards. It is ideal for custom-built PCs, mini-servers, and HTPCs.
NVIDIA SLI and AMD Crossfire CertifiedThis unit is NVIDIA SLI and AMD Crossfire certified, and comes equipped with two 6-pin and two 6+2-Pin PCIe connectors to build a multi-GPU system.
Dual FanThis power supply has one fan located at the front, and one fan at the back of the power supply. The rear fan intakes the heat that is produced inside the server or system, and pushes it through the front fan which is positioned towards the exit points of the server/system, which keeps the motherboard and hard drives cool. This design allows the power supply to take 100% of the heat that is generated by the interior system and push it out of the server/system. While some other PSU fans work differently, this dual fan design is targeted to maintain a reliable source of power and keeping the system cooled. Some may second-guess this dual fan feature because it will increase noise volumes, but with its thermal fan speed control, it will detect the amount of heat generated by the computer and spin accordingly.
Quality BuildThis PSU is 100% burn-in tested under high ambient temperature and 100% Hi-pot tested. It also features a vacuum-impregnated transformer for better stability and reliability. The output over voltage protection and short circuit protection on all outputs avoid device damage. Also includes resettable power shut down.
