4 out of 5 eggsGreat PSU

Pros: Awesome power 1000w is nice to have with 80+ Gold efficiency. Looks great, My build is red and black themed and this really goes PERFECT with it. Very happy with this PSU.

Some say the individual sleeved cables causes for harder cable management. This is true and false. Its sort of a double edged sword. It looks 90 times better but indeed they are alot stiffer to route through the back of you PC case. If you work the cables a little bit it softens them up and makes them easier to work with. Just a suggestion.

Cons: Cables are stiff. But can be worked with. I really like the black and red theme for this PSU. But this Fatality stuff is annoying. I haven't heard of him in the gaming scene since 7+ years ago? Why is he still on products?

Other Thoughts: Good psu

Pros: No issues. The psu is a great product.

Cons: The only snag is that some case manufacturers still use outdate molex connectors for some of their front panel accesories. It would be nice to have one of these thrown in with the other cables with a male/female molex to modular 8 pin cable.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent

Pros: Individually sleeved cables means you can pull back the extra 2 pins on the 6+2 pin pci-e connectors if you don't need them for a cleaner look. High quality sleeving, TONS of cables all of excellent length, bright LED (if that's a pro to you), quiet fan, plenty of juice

Cons: Individually sleeved cables mean they are a bit bulky, so just make sure you have the room in the back of your case to manage them and tie them all down, because they do build up quickly. Had to shove the back panel of my HAF 922 on because i just ran out of room to tie the cables down. Also there should really be a way to turn the LED off for people who don't want it there. This isn't a concern for me, but just stating it.

Other Thoughts: Bought this because my other PSU didn't have enough juice for my crossfire setup. Overall I've been extremely happy with this thing so far. Everybody says the 8 pin is a bit short, so i bought a sleeved extention for it, but it turns out i had PLENTY of cable. I'm in a rather big mid tower (HAF 922) but i can see if you have a massive full tower this being an issue. Overall excellent quality.

5 out of 5 eggsSolid PSU

Pros: -Individually sleeved cables
-Solid construction
-Extra cables w/ small carrying pouch
-Red LED

Cons: -Short 8 pin CPU connector

You may need an extension on your 8 pin CPU connector if you plan on routing your cable through the back of the case. I solved the problem by flipping the PSU with the fan pointing down, I could do this because my case has an exhaust slot. Even then, it runs a little short.

Other Thoughts: This PSU is semi-modular, not fully. But it is not a big deal at all because the only cables that are semi modular are 8 pin CPU, 24 pin motherboard connector, and two 6/8 PCI-E connectors. These are cables you will most definitely use, so no big deal that you can not remove them.

I would recommend this PSU to someone who is looking to build a gaming computer.

4 out of 5 eggsgood for the price

Pros: 1000w gold mod.
5yr warranty
Long sata and molex cables

Cons: -Cpu 12v could be a little longer
-LED should be able to turn off
-Graphics are kinda lame
-makes an obnoxious coil whine at ~300 watts....thank jeebus I sold it in a build.

Other Thoughts: People have stated tht the individualy wrapped wires make the cables bigger..they do...but they are not unmanageble...I think the slight bulk is worth the sharper look and not having to do it yourself is huge. Be wary if you are using this with single gpu....I had a 560 ti and at gpu full load with a 3930k it produced a noticible coil whine from the 12v railiaround 300 watts)..don't know if its specific to that wattage or if its just the ril load but be wary. Only bought this because it was on sale for $170...anything more and I would have went with another brand for sure
