The macally PHR-S250UAB USB 2.0 / 1394 external enclosure is simply elegant with rugged exterior. Pop any 2.5" SATA drive into the enclosure, connect to your computer via 1394B, 1394A or USB 2.0, and you’ve got an external hard drive with data transfer rates at rates up to 800Mbps and no AC power adapter required!
The rugged aluminum enclosure maximizes cooling so your hard drive won’t heat up as much as it would inside the computer. Together with the shock absorbent rubber strip on top and bottom, the aluminum enclosure also provides great hard drive protection.
