4 out of 5 eggsGreat batteries from respected manufacturer

Pros: I've had these batteries 4 or 5 weeks and so far they are great performers. Powerex isn't a household name but it's respected in other "battery circles." I have a "smart" charger and it indicates (so far) that these batteries should be healthy performers...no clinkers in the bunch of 8.

Cons: None so far.

5 out of 5 eggsVery Good :)

Pros: 1. Last a long time.
2. Keeps a great charge.
3. Comes in a nice little plastic case for travel/storage.
4. They came fully charged and ready to go.

Cons: 1. None that I can see.

Other Thoughts: I don't know a lot about batteries so take my review with a grain of salt as it will not provide the insight as the other reviews here with those users being MUCH more informed than I.

I use these batteries for my Uniden HomePatrol-1 digital scanner and my Logitech G602 wireless mouse. So far these batteries are performing WAY better than I thought. They seem to last a long freaking time :) :)

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent batteries

Pros: These are excellent batteries, this is my second purchase when they were on sale.

Cons: My issue has to do with Newegg. I've ordered this 8 battery pack twice, and each time the plastic case housing the batteries was shipped loose in a paper envelope.

Things get beat up in shipping, and both orders arrived with the batteries loose in the paper envelope, and the plastic storage case broken.

Other Thoughts: Newegg, needs to apply a little common sense when shipping items like this; they need to be packed securely in a box !!

5 out of 5 eggsImedion AA Rechargeables

Pros: I use these in a Canon camera and wanted some batteries that would hold a charge for a long time. Sometimes the camera isn't used for a couple of months and it doesn't work too well if you have to charge the batteries every time you want to take a picture. These work VERY well. They hold a charge for a long time and operate without running down quickly in my application.

Cons: none

5 out of 5 eggswhere've you been all my life POWEREX

Pros: Cheap.
Long lasting.
Powerful compared to other rechargeables and regular AAs I have.
Cheap.

Cons: -

Other Thoughts: Replaced the Duracell rechargeables in my mouse: lasts weeks longer.
Replaced the generic rechargeables in my beard trimmer: sounds like a go-cart now, shaves easier, lasts longer.
Replaced rechargeable Duracell's in my 360 Wireless for Windows gamepad: lasts almost a month longer.

3 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Not sure, they are batteries lol
They work
Pre-charged (aren't all batteries?)

Cons: The little case they came in was cracked and doesn't really close well due to it. There was no damage done to the bubble-wrap-envelope, so it was clearly damaged Before leaving some place.

Other Thoughts: Took 2 eggs off for the clear ignorance of sending out these batteries with a cracked case

5 out of 5 eggsreceived empty package

Pros: A empty padded envelope arrived -- ripped open at the end. New Egg service gets 5-stars for immediately refunding so that I could re-order.

Cons: never received the batteries

5 out of 5 eggsSolid performance

Pros: *Quality product
*Excellent performance
*High capacity
*Lasting charge
*Long life

I've used other sets of these same batteries for at least 4 years, and they live up to everything I've ever read about them. I've used them in cameras, flashlights, remotes, toys, multimeters, cordless input devices, music players, radios, and more. They simply work, and they work just as well as advertised and reviewed.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: I didn't even know the 'egg offered these until I saw them in an email promo. At the sale price, I immediately purchased an 8-pack of AA cells.

Your only caveat, and this seems to apply to all NiMH rechargeables in general, is to use a conditioning charger for optimum performance. I also own a MAHA/Powerex MH-C9000 charger/analyzer, and its functions for 'break-in' and 'refresh' and 'cycle' have not only kept the Powerex batteries in top-performing condition, but actually restored useability to a few Energizer-branded NiMH batteries which had been reported as 'bad' by the native charger and would not charge at all.

Buy a high-quality charger/refresher to use with these batteries.
You may think such chargers cost an awful lot, but they'll allow a much longer lifespan for your batteries, ultimately reducing your overall cost in the long run. LaCrosse is another highly-regarded maker of such chargers, in addition to MAHA/Powerex.

5 out of 5 eggsGood purchase

Pros: Holds power well, quick recharge.

Cons: These batteries are ~ 1 mm larger in diameter than usual non-rechargeable batteries which makes it difficult to pull them out of small devices (eg. microphones with tubular battery compartments).
