5 out of 5 eggsGood purchase

Pros: Holds power well, quick recharge.

Cons: These batteries are ~ 1 mm larger in diameter than usual non-rechargeable batteries which makes it difficult to pull them out of small devices (eg. microphones with tubular battery compartments).

5 out of 5 eggsOnly buy imedion.

Pros: Capacity higher than rated as stated by my MAHA charger, even nearly a year after purchase. Little voltage dropoff. Fast cycletimes for camera flash.

Cons: None. (Wish they carried the AAA Immedion more often on Newegg.)

Other Thoughts: I haven't bought anything but Imedion since I started using them over a year ago. I have now bought them for friends and family as well.

Lack of discharge when not in use is fantastic. It makes it "feel" like a higher capacity battery since there is so little discharge when not in use.

5 out of 5 eggsThe best available L.S.D. NiMH AA batteries hands down.

Pros: Maha Imedion, Eneloop, and Gp Recyko are the 3 best L.S.D. NiMH brand batteries out there.

Per dollar, the Recyko provide the best value, but for maximum capacity and a high workload (such as a camera flash) Maha Imedion AA's are the best.

Cons: None! Have had these for quite awhile and they are workhorse batteries that do not disappoint.

5 out of 5 eggsNice Batteries

Pros: Very nice batteries, low self discharge, good alternative to the more expensive Sanyo Eneloops.

Cons: As other reviewers have stated never use a fast 15 minute charger with these. Spend the money for a high end charger.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat batteries

Pros: The batteries come fully charged.

After a couple cycles on my battery cycler i have confirmed these batteries hold right at 2400mah.

After 6 months on the shelf in my scanner the batteries are still fully charged.

Cons: Not suitable for fast charging. Fast charging will ruin these batteries.

Newegg shipped these batteries via USPS in a padded envelope. The plastic case was broken upon arrival. I don't need the case so no loss to me.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat batteries.

Pros: I have used these batteries before and just recieved new ones. They look fine...have not used them yet but if they hold up like the old ones did I will be happy.

Cons: The plastic carry case they come with was broken. The hinge on it is completely broken...making the case almost useless unless I put a rubber band around it.

Other Thoughts: Just because the case is broken is no reason for me to take any "eggs" off the quality of the batteries.

5 out of 5 eggsFar better than Energizer, Duracell, and Rayovac rechargeables

Pros: Powerex makes some of the very best batteries period. I have tried about every brand out there and while there are a couple brands that come close and only one brand that matches the quality of Powerex is still a top choice for rechargeable battery needs. My list of top brands of rechargeables beside Powerex being the best.

1. Ansman, This is a German brand and these match the quality of Powerex batteries.
2.Sanyo Eneloop, Great Japanese battery should definitely look these up if the price is right.
3. Panasonic rechargeables but these are next to impossible to find but they are very good.

Cons: Really? a con where a con?

Other Thoughts: NEVER use a 15 minute charger as these chargers destroy the capacity and life of rechargeable batteries. Using a pulse charger then 1 hour charge is fine otherwise use a 2 hour charger. Maha Powerex MH-C9000 is a pulse charger which helps to prevent the generation of heat which can damage batteries and also helps to acheive maximum charge without damaging the cells.

5 out of 5 eggsSimply Awesome!

Pros: Love these batteries. I've had much more success with these batteries then with the Eneloops. Even with the older Imedions.

Cons: None, all worked great!

Other Thoughts: Have these batteries managed by a Maha MH-C9000.

5 out of 5 eggsGREAT!

Pros: Keep there charge after a LONG time.

Cons: A little "fat" for AA's sometimes have to push hard to fit into a wii-remote, my rock band guitar, or my Cordless Screwdriver. But for as long as they last and keep the charge this isn't enough to warrant a loss of an egg.

Other Thoughts: Great Batteries and as-usual Newegg has the best price.
