Continuing the Antec tradition of quiet, yet solid power supplies, the Antec Basiq 350 offers brand-name reliability at a value price. Suitable for the entry-level power user or the budget minded system builder, the Basiq 350 is ATX12V v.2.01 compliant. Its universal connector will fit most branded ATX motherboards and the 4-pin 12V, SATA, floppy and 20 + 4 pin main connector along with the four Molex connectors let you hook up a variety of components.
It offers built-in, industrial grade protection circuitry to guard against damage from power overloads, short circuits and over voltage. With 350 watts of power at your command, dedicated power circuitry delivers maximum, stable power to your CPU via dual +12V output circuits independently of the other components.
An 8cm cooling fan draws heat out of the power supply without the tell-tale loud noise of other brands. All of this is backed by Antec's 1-year parts and labor warranty for extra peace of mind.

Works Great
- Pros: Low price, two +12v rails, SATA connectors, 4-pin removable for 20 or 24pin motherboards.
- Cons: Cables are alittle short and unsleeved.
- Other Thoughts: This is a great psu for the price, its a solid unit and after several tests has done exactly what its spec'd for. It's no power horse, but for most pc's its plenty of power.
- Pros: Great price. Used to update an old computer when rebuilding it and it works great.
- Cons: Doesn't have the power for some high level computing needs but works great for budget builds.

BEST PSU for the money!
- Pros: I have bought several of these and have experienced no failures or strange system behavior due to this PSU. For the money, you aren't going to get a better PSU. Although there are some limitations (see cons below), this is a well made unit and provides stable and reliable voltages. I work on computers and unreliable power supplies shorten the life of systems dramatically in the form of blown motherboard capacitors, etc. Certain brands sold at discount retailers (one headquartered in Arkansas) would almost certainly be a much better system if you pulled the stock power supply and used one of these. The common cable length complaint shouldn't be an issue in most mini-atx cases.
- Cons: There are a limited number of connectors, only two SATA, and the cables are short, which can make connecting difficult in some mid tower cases. The cables also lack shielding, which I haven't found to be a problem in all but a few systems, which are already using a much larger PSU.
- Other Thoughts: If you are on a budget and want the cheapest possible, but also want quality, go this route. You will regret getting a cheaper unit as you will likely have other hardware related failures that more than offset the cost.
The cable length issue shouldn't be a problem in mini-ATX cases.
These are great to throw in customer PCs bought at discount stores when the PSUs fry and don't take the rest of the system along.
Great PS
- Pros: It's an Antec 350w power supply and it was $20 bucks.
- Cons: As previously mentioned in past reviews, cable/power connectors are a tad too short. Even for a mid-size tower.
- Other Thoughts: If it wasn't for the short cable length I would not hesitate to give this power supply 5 eggs.
excellent for budget machines
- Pros: Quiet fan, good output for basic computing
- Cons: 1 sata connector... be sure to buy some adapters
- Other Thoughts: this psu is meant for microATX systems. The cables are SHORT, so don't buy it for larger systems.
