5 out of 5 eggsConstantly Running and no problems.

Pros: I love this power supply. I love that it is fully modular giving me the choice of how many cables to run with. The handle on the back adds extra support for carrying my big gaming rig. The wattage is more than enough for now.

Cons: None!

4 out of 5 eggsGreat power supply, with one cosmetic issue.

Pros: -Price, Even at the $110 mark this PSU is great, but discounted $40 its a steal.
-Fully modular
-Excellent cable quality, the red GPU cables are a nice touch for any Red/Black theme.
-For only being 650W this packs 80A across is 12v rails, which is very impressive.
-Can't forget the Gold Certification.

Cons: I only have 1 issue with this product, The "Handle" on the back of the PSU arrived loose. It's not major enough for me to RMA nor does it inhibit the performance of the product. I'm debating opening it up to tighten it.

Other Thoughts: Even after through inspection, its impossible to discern that this was a refurbished product (other than the loose handle). i would recommend this product to anyone with a tight budget who wants a top tier product.

3 out of 5 eggsWarranty??

Pros: Is it a 1-year warranty or is it a 10-year warranty? New models have 10 years but this refurbished one says 10 years and then 1 year right underneath. This is an important detail that needs to be corrected because if it carries the same 10-year warranty as a new one then I am more than happy to buy a refurbished one, especially since they are much less likely to get returned again.

Cons: .

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Andrew R,
I am very sorry for any confusion as all of the EVGA recertified products with a –RX part number to come with a standard 1 year warranty upon purchase. Please do not hesitate to let us know if you should have any additional questions or concerns with the EVGA warranty availability by calling us at 1-888-881-3842 or contacting us by email at Newegg@evga.com.
Sincerely,
EVGA Customer Support

4 out of 5 eggsConfusion...

Pros: On EVGA website, they say that this model (EVGA 120-PB-0750-RX) is a 750W, not a 650W. So, is this PSU a 650W with another model number? Or a 750W with the correct model number but incorrectly titled?

Cons: Bad information, -1 egg for this : I don't have it, but I'm sure that such misinformation can mislead many customers.

5 out of 5 eggsAlmost... YES!

Pros: It's actually a question more than an evaluation. It looks good, however there's some confusion which needs to be cleared out : the title says 80 Plus Gold Certified, but the specifications mention 80 Plus BRONZE certified... So which is it, Gold or Bronze?

I verified on Ecova's Web Site (Plug Load Solutions), those who deliver certifications, and effectively this PSU is Gold Certified, not Bronze. Here's what they've tested :
TYPICAL EFFICIENCY (50% Load): 91.10%
AVERAGE EFFICIENCY : 89.50%
80 PLUS COMPLIANT: YES

Looks good!

Cons: Bad specifications information : it's Gold certified, not Bronze. Apart from this I can't say much more except "gotta to buy it"!
