Vinpower Digital 25GB 4X BD-R White Inkjet Printable 10 Packs Spindle Disc Model VP/BD-R/04/WIP

Pros: Easy to write on white surface.
Extremely inexpensive especially when on sale with free shipping.

Cons: The edges are not sealed as I've seen with other BluRay disks--this exposes the disk to humidity as it deteriorates from the edges and gets in between exposed layers of clear coat plastic and the data surface.

I've had other BluRay disks and they were sealed where as clear protective film overflowed on the edges creating a barrier against elements preventing the loss of data. Not a deal breaker but something to look out for if you want maximum longevity of your data.

Other Thoughts: Get it for 95% of applications.

I wouldn't trust this disk with every type of data.

Pros: Have had successful burns 3 times at 4x using Vista 32bit sp1 with Imgburn 2.5.6.0 on my LG WH10LS30 FW1.00-A9. The media's disc ID is PHILIP-R04-000 and supports Write Speeds of 2x, 4x, 6x, 8x. Plays back great in my ps3 slim.

Other Thoughts: I don't use nero anymore since it became so bloated and was having burning issues using 9 essentials. As usual newegg delivered fast. I'll be trying more of these Vin Power blanks for sure.

Cons: Bought these cheaply and got what I payed for. My setup is a Macbook Pro 15" + Adobe Encore CS5 + Roxio Toast 11 Titanium + LGWH12LS38. 8 coasters in a 10 pack is too many. I've used other media completely error free with the same setup. I will stick with more reputable brands in the future.

Other Thoughts: You roll the dice with this one. How a company will ship this many defective discs in a single pack is beyond me! Why Newegg even sells this garbage is another legitimate question.

Pros: I have used 6 of the 10 without issue. I am using an LG WH12LS30 for burning and different software for authoring, depending on the data.

Cons: None thus far.

Pros: Using an LG WH12LS38K, win7x64 I burned a spindle of these with 23-24+ gb data at 8X (about 16-17 mins per disk) of backups with no errors and no problems. So far they have been great and inexpensive. Just ordered 3 more spindles.

Cons: none so far

Pros: Cheap.

Cons: Using my LG WH12LS30 with Win XP I coastered 2 out 5 discs.
I corrected this problem by burning at 2x only.

Pros: Work's Great only had 2 error's out of 90 discs.

Cons: Select your burner carefully very picky media

Pros: I have bought about 12 packs (10 disc sets) over the last few months and they print great and burn good only had a few coasters maybe 1 outta 10

Cons: not glossy and few coasters

Other Thoughts: again, these are great priced and do the job on low speed burns very well

Pros: *Capable of writing faster than 4x (ive gotten 6x and 8X burn with no issues)
*Can get these at sometimes for less than $1/disk

Cons: *not free

Other Thoughts: I use for archiving data files and havent had a coaster with any of them
