1 out of 5 eggsStay Away !

Pros: There is a 50 -50 chance that it will burn, and a 100 % chance Vinpower will not support there product .

Cons: Bought 2 of these 25 packs and got 26 out of 50 failure rate. Called vinpower and never got a hold of anyone. Left message and no response on thier faulty disks.

Other Thoughts: Do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY from this Company.

1 out of 5 eggsNo good

Pros: Price

Cons: Spotty burns, with spots on disk leaving you with unverified data.

Other Thoughts: Blu dye so no scratch resistance at all, these are like 1990 dvd+rs. Dont waste your time and money on these you will be making back ups of back ups. I will

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: I've been using these for 2 years with a Pioneer BDR 205, and now an LG on my Mac. Never a problem and all burn without an issue.

Cons: None.

2 out of 5 eggsNot good recently

Pros: These have worked almost flawlessly in the last 2 years since they were introduced. The first 2 packs I had a few coasters that I believe were due to quality control, but since then they have been reliable... until now

Cons: Most recently bought a cake, January 2013 and had roughly 2-3 work and had to toss atleast 12 thus far. I do believe its the media since I tried this on my original 2x LG BDR and HDDVD combo drive and also tried it on an LG BDR 4X on a separate computer altogether. Neither one seems to work any better than the other with various software.

Other Thoughts: The older PC with LG BDR & HDDVD drive, WIN7 Home Prem32 bit. Newer PC with WIN7 PRO 64bit, LG BDR 4X. I have tried DVDFAB, NERO, IMGBURN. None of these software work with the media reliably while Verbatim (normal BDR) and Memorex both work flawlessly each time. I have tried different speeds and updating firmware, they always get about 90% complete, to finalizing and they fail.

1 out of 5 eggsAll Coasters

Pros: None

Cons: Not one disk have I been able to record, all coasters, this was a waste of time and money. This is the first time I have had this many bad disks, other bdr's records fine.

4 out of 5 eggsFirst failures

Pros: Still a good product when they aren't coasters.

Cons: I have been buying these discs for 2 years, about 175-200 of them. I had one failure out of the first pack and none since, until this batch. First 2 out of the cake pan failed at 80-85% burned. Then, the next 5 burn3ed just fine. It seems odd that these would do that. I'll have to see how the remaining 43 do.

Other Thoughts: I like the price of these discs and until this batch they were very good at burning. I can't give 5 eggs for 2 out of first 2 failures.

1 out of 5 eggsBasically, entirely useless batch...

Pros: Not a single one...

Cons: Almost every disc has failed.

Other Thoughts: It seems like most people do not have a problem... but I am looking a success rate of only ~5%... I have tried 30 or so discs so far and only 2 have managed to work. The other 28 are coasters, so I'm not confident the rest are going to magically work. I read one review where the person had the same exact hardware and software as my own... with no failures... as I mentioned... I got a really raw deal on my batch apparently. LUCKILY I got this pack for Christmas... but now I'm about 2 months closer to having to buy my own batch, as this was a waste.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat media!

Pros: Cheap! I bought these at $30, then the price went up $15 the next day haha. I guess people are buying the hell out of these things.

For some reason, these things burn at 8x for me. A full burn in 10-15 minutes. Crazy, but thats just what it does. (Software is 'blu ray disk suite' and burner is an LG (forget exactly what model).

No coasters yet, over 100 blu rays burned.

Cons: I wish there was a white printable version of this.

Other Thoughts: I will continue with this brand. I heard lots of bad things about the new 'economy' media and will stay away from those.

1 out of 5 eggsDon't Work

Pros: Cheap.

Cons: They don't work. It's not the drive, the computer, or the software. A test with another brand of 25GB BD-R disc works fine. I tried several of these with various programs. The software doesn't even recognize them.

3 out of 5 eggsBurned coasters at 4x; worked OK at 2x

Pros: inexpensive

Cons: didn't burn properly at rated speed

Other Thoughts: First couple of discs burned at 4x in an LG GGW-H20L turned up high error rates toward the end of the disc when analyzed with dvdisaster. Slowing down the burn to 2x produced good discs.

(Software used was growisofs (part of dvd+rw-tools) under Gentoo Linux, with an image produced with a script that calls mkisofs (part of cdrtools) and dvdisaster; I write 20 GB of data to each disc and use dvdisaster to fill in the remaining space with error-recovery information.)

Great media for the price

No failed burns on my LG BH12LS35 out of the 100 I burned so far. They also burn at up to 8x on my burner.

Really surprised!

They're one of the cheapest brands you can find, and they WORK!
