1 out of 5 eggsOut of Business?

Pros: None

Cons: See the review about Tuniq receiving the RMA'd power supply on 6-15-2009. It is now 9-02-09. During that time a number of emails, phone calls, and faxes have been completly ignored. No unit was sent back from them. Notice all of their power supplies have large rebates. It is safe to assume that the chance of actually receiving a rebate from this company is zero. Stay far away from any of their products. Hopefully New Egg will look into this company before any more of their customers get burned.

1 out of 5 eggsJunk and bad customer service

Pros: 1200 wattts

Cons: Only lasted 8 months before stopped working. It was under warranty still so i mailed it in. It arrived on 6/15/09 and they still haven't even mentioned that they received it. I have also tried calling every other day and all i get is voice mail. DO NOT BUY THIS POWER SUPPLY!!! Probably going to just give up and bite the bullet and buy a different power supply.

3 out of 5 eggsworked for 5 months

Pros: long cables, silent, 1200w

Cons: Die after 5 months of use.

Other Thoughts: Tuniq has the worst customer service (IMO) so far, I still haven't gotten an answer since the first time i email them 3 weeks ago.

1 out of 5 eggsSecond one died

Pros: Great PSU when it worked.

Cons: Second PSU died after eight months of use.

Other Thoughts: First one died around four months, returned it, now the second one is dead. May not be able to RMA now since it has been over a year since purchase of the first one.

1 out of 5 eggsA zenith of disappointment.

Pros: While running it can handle a bit of equipment, quiet and cables were of decent length.

Cons: Died after 8 months. I was rebooting my system and it never came back up. No power to anything.

Other Thoughts: Overall I would avoid this one. It's covered under the one year return, but I really don't want another one of these giant albatrosses (crash and burn).

1 out of 5 eggsWorked for a few months

Pros: A great psu.... until it died. Lots of power, stable, quite, long cables. Almost everything you could want in a psu.

Cons: I don't know what happend but after just a few months it died. My computer was running when I went out and then off when I retuned. I know it is the psu as it wont even turn on it self. As of now, I don't know if anything in the computer was dammaged. We will see.

Other Thoughts: I went out on a limb with my last power supply and again on this one. Probably not again. My last one was great, a SeaSonic. No problems with it. I just replaced it because it was over a year old and not quite enough power. At least I still have it to use for awhile until the rma is done.

5 out of 5 eggsPowerful enough for the very best

Pros: Excellent distrobution of power among the rails. High enouch current capacity to power a pair of GTX 280 video cards and still feed the system with enough power to sustain a 4050Mhz E8400 overclock.
QUIET! Runs very cool even with the system at full load.

Cons: The unit is physically larger than most standard ATX units. Make sure you have enough room in your enclosure to fit the power supply. Also note: Some cases (Like the Cooler Master Cosmos) have special sections for the power supply fan to fit over so the power supply can pull its own cooling air. Larger power supplies like this one, won't fit a pre-cut area like that perfectly.

Other Thoughts: I like the ability to remove a tangle of wires with a modular power supply. Some compaines choose not to build modular becuae it adds unwanted impedance to a circuit.
The cords on the Ensemble are VERY long and have no problems making connections in my own SLI build in my COSMOS case.

5 out of 5 eggsVery Impressed!

Pros: Excellent Quality and the powersupply cables are uninterrupted (not modular), which means better effeciency and less effort on the part of the PSU overcoming resistance. Two fans for even better airflow. The fanspeed adjusts to the load... cool. As a matter of fact, the psu will even turn on the fans when the system is off if the psu registers heat in excess of 50C degrees. This badboy is rated at 82.3% efficiency at FULL MAX power and 86% under normal usage, not many psu's, except the best can make this claim.

Cons: I couldn't but a 2000w version to futureproof my rig, and I don't have room to fit two of these in my Stacker 830... =)

Other Thoughts: This psu uses very high grade Japanese components, which are rated the amongst the best in the industry. In other words, no cheap junk is in this psu. Its HUGE yet very quiet. Powers two 3870x2 with ease, Zalman9700LED, E8400 @ 4.0ghz, 4GB DDR3 Patriot Viper, Asus P5E3 Deluxe Wifi... and working on getting a better sound card when I can afford it.
