Cons: Just received unit an hour ago, plugged it in, plugged in drive, turned on power, exactly as manual says. Nothing happened - no drive spinning up, no sounds at all. As I re-read the manual, I smelled smoke and looked back over at the unit which was now venting smoke from the drive bays, and at a pretty good rate. Unplugged, working on RMA now. DOA.
Other Thoughts: When I buy electronics or computer gear, I always buy from Newegg...never have any problems, never had to do an RMA. I'd love to get a dual-drive "chassis/enclosure" like this again, but they're all made by brands I don't recognize. I won't make that mistake again.

Pros: Very versatile with two drive docks that each accomodate both drive sizes. eSATA is fast. Decent quality.
Cons: Relatively short power cable.
Other Thoughts: Great for backups.

Cons: Only con I really care about is the fact that there is no auto shut off, not even when esata cable is disconnected.
