Sunbeam PSU
- Pros: This PSU is $25
It is 680Watt Mine hasn't broken Blue LEDs Good and cheap psu until you can afford to upgrade.
- Cons: It doesn't provide continuous power, once i installed my GTX260 this PSU starts to drop its power going to it.
Only 1 6pin connector. Cheaply made, it weighs next to nothing LEDs not too bright after about 4months, its already losing some of its power, just shows that its not made to last very long.
- Other Thoughts: Well, it was good for me when i had my 9500, when i stepped up to the monster 260GTX it worked for a month or so, and now its starting to lose power, and cause drops in FPS all the time.
Im going to upgrade to a better power supply, probably modular, with plenty of 6pin connectors. The lights that it has are pretty wimpy, if you have other lights this one is barely seen at all! Obviously, i had no problems with it except for the fluctuating power output, i think NewEgg's RMA service will help you if you have any problems. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone, unless they had to get something cheap and quick, but able to upgrade at a later date.
Works
- Pros: Works well, pretty quiet.
- Cons: none really
- Other Thoughts: cheap and works
Works for me
- Pros: I bought this to replace my antec that burned out. So I had to remove my Nvidia 260 GTX, got this unit installed and I was able to reinstall my graphics card.
- Cons: None so far.
- Other Thoughts: Has a nice lare fan underneath the power supply for added air flow.
