1 out of 5 eggsNon-Existent Service

Pros: Work great when it did

Cons: Stopped working

Other Thoughts: Tried to contact Sparkle computer for RMA and was directed to the Taiwan website. Sent an email to sparklefaq@sparkle.com.tw and it came back as non-deliverable. So difficult to recommend this product.

5 out of 5 eggs2.5 years and still a powerhouse

Pros: Case, cables, cord, a colors really do "Sparkle" with humble eloquence in form and function.

Cons: Had to RMA the first model sent for my build and from my initial irritation wrote a nasty review.

Other Thoughts: After surviving disuse, neglect, 2 home moves, and one hell of a breakup with the ex, I begrudgingly must say that this power supply remains unrivaled in terms of quality and quantity for the price at time of purchase. Giving silicone lifeblood to a Asus P6X58D-E, Intel Core i7-930, 2 Palit 460GTX's in SLI, Asus Essence STX, 6 case fans, and one ridiculously over-sized twin-fan'd Noctua processor air cooler, this power supply makes building and performance over sustained gaming periods in close quarters a cinche.

5 out of 5 eggsbest power supply ive ever used

Pros: quiet, powerfull, cables easy to organize.

Cons: i cant think of any to be honest

Other Thoughts: my cpu water cooler leaked onto this thing, i thought it fried it, because sparks flew everywhere and a fuse in my circuit breaker went out. I let it dry off, and it is still running strong, i'm amazed by the durability and quality. ill always buy from sparkle from now on

1 out of 5 eggsDon't Buy if you have a powerful Vid Card

Pros: Nice Looking, quiet, good air flow. Sparkle RMA'd my first PSU to die without any problems.

Cons: After a year of use it can't power a decent Video Card. Sporadic shutdowns, video card flipping out because of drops in power or over powering. Using this psu in 5 towers of the exact build. 3 of them are having the same issue. Not reliable. It has taken hours upon hours of troubleshooting the video cards, drivers, OS's, power distribution units, everything but the PSU to finally find out that it is the Sparkle. Bought this originally for the good reviews and great warranty. But after the disappointment of having them not be able to power a video card and replacing them with a 700W OCZ Fatal1ty PSU, its a pretty sad day for Sparkle. Lesson learned. Stick with what you know if going to perform.

Other Thoughts: Sparkle has been decent to work with on their website for RMA purposes. I have not bothered calling or talking with anyone, which is probably why I haven't had a bad experience with that. However, to keep replacing a faulty PSU (1 of which blew a breaker in my server room) with another faulty PSU isn't going to work and I have to try something different.

5 out of 5 eggsThe best power supply I have ever owned.

Pros: Rock solid voltages, handles everything I have thrown at it, takes a beating and lives forever. More than enough power to run most hardcore enthusiast setups.

Cons: The power cable isn't standard, it's bloody huge...not a big deal but I hate leaving the "cons" box empty.

Other Thoughts: I have owned this power supply for 2 years now and it has always been part of a Crossfire or SLI system with top of the line cards and power hungry processors. It has seen dual processor FX series AMD boards with GTX 295s in SLI, 1156 socket i7 setups with the infamously power hungry GTX 480 in SLI and currently powers a rig with the i7 extreme 3960k and two HD6990 cards in quad crossfire. I'm brutal to computer hardware, often leaving my computer on for weeks at a time, and I would say without hesitation that this PSU has spent more time running than not over the past two years. I'd estimate it has about 1.5 years of power-on time. It has survived so much, including hours (days?) of over clocking sessions gone wrong as well as high temps when my A/C went out one summer. I can't emphasize how impressed with this power supply I am, and I've seen a lot of power supplies. This is a notch above the rest.

1 out of 5 eggsDONT BUY

Pros: Nice looking, wide selection of power connection wires.

Cons: After 1 year of ownership, this thing is reading WAAAY over voltages on 3.3, 5 and 12v. 12v is hittin in upwards of 16.8v. Immediately noticed the readings off ohm meters and bios after having erratic shut down of power and immediate repowering. Complete Trash after 1 year of use. Have had $35 psu's last longer.

1 out of 5 eggsDO NOT BUY

Pros: Worked for 14 months

Cons: Stopped working, Sparkle service is the worst customer service out there super slow to response if they ever response to your phone calls and messages. DO NOT BUY THIS BRAND

Other Thoughts: DO NOT BUY SPARKLE brands, they have worst customer service and very slow in response to any issue no matter what. I will probably get the same generic reply from the manufacturer stating to call and email them to resolve issues but all that has been done, with no response from them. buy another brand and save yourself from headaches dealing with sparkle.

1 out of 5 eggs*@#*@#*@# DIED @#$@#

Pros: Modular and nice cable lenght

Cons: Make a crackling sound when i turned it on after work and died. Right after i got home from work. sparkle support almost non existent. Really liked it when it worked. It was powering 2 gtx 480's.

Other Thoughts: i think i'll stick with corsair from now on

1 out of 5 eggsNoise....

Pros: Amazing packaging, the other reviews are not kidding.
Provides enough power for surfing the internet without making the noise.

Cons: Whining noise whenever GPU is loaded.... even when total rig is pulling less than 600 watts. I had read the reviews on the good and bad psu's but it seems I have joined the 1/3 people with this noise instead of the 2/3 without. See other thoughts for rig info. Sent an email to sparkle and no response yet. Wondering if I should pay the shipping and get my refund or risk being 2 for 2 like the person below with a referbished or new whining psu and THEN get a refund after 50$ in shipping. A loud fan I could handle, this whine gives me a headache.

Other Thoughts: My antec 650 watt psu has no problems but a 1250 Watt sounds horrible with this rig:
AMD phenomIIX4 stock 3.4
radeon 5870 (CypresXT 2 GB version)graphics card
2 1T hd's in a raid0
