Cons: Does not work. I tried several times to put my SSD into this enclosure, but it never worked. The device tries to insert the SSD connectors into the ports when you close the lid, but it never worked. It just felt like the whole thing was going to break, or damage the SSD. It's going back.

Other Thoughts: The SSD came with a mount that works just fine. I should have left well enough alone, especially for how much this enclosure cost!

Pros: Great fit in my Supermicro 1u hot swap. This worked as advertised and did not take any modification as other reviewers had mentioned (not that I don't believe them). I used Vertex 4's with this build. There is also decent ventilation around the drives.

Cons: The plastic does feel a bit flimsy, but this is sitting in a server in a colocation, so very little wear occurs. I would not use these on a build that sees a lot of hot swapping.

Other Thoughts: Much better converter than the standard piece of metal that comes with the vertex drives

Pros: Clever solution when mounting SSD's into hot-swap bays. One of the units that I bought worked just as advertised with no fuss and worked first time.

Cons: The 2nd unit would not close and connect the SSD to the internal plugs after many, many attempts. It appears that the PCB to which the plugs is connected will warp out of position rather than mate with the SSD sockets. Appears to be a mis-alignment (of less than a millimeter) that prevents a successful docking.

Other Thoughts: Overall, this was disappointing as I can see the potential and was looking forward to using both cases.

Pros: I absolutely love this item! Simply set the SSD in the center, close then lock by sliding the door back. If that's confusing its only because of the way i'm saying it. Look it up on youtube for a review! it's highly recommended for those who don't feel like mounting your SSD to an 3.5 adapter.

Pros: Very nice item does exactly as stated! It doesn't get any easier than this. If you're looking for a way to securely protect your drive this is your best bet IMHO.

Cons: It didn't come with extra sata cables? *shrug* it is what it is i have tons of cables so its really not a con.

Pros: I got these bundled with some OCZ SSD and they work perfectly, not a problem. Transfer rates are identical with drives installed or with the drives connected directly to the motherboard.

Cons: One of 4 cradles had a loose screw hole. I dripped a little super glue in and it fixed it perfectly.

Other Thoughts: I would have given five stars less the loose screw hole.

Cons: Very difficult to cleanly install SSD

Pros: Went easily into my Rosewill case and my new Crucial mobile SSD fit perfectly into it.

Pros: Fits a 2.5" SSD nice and snug, and clicked perfectly into an HP MediaSmart Server drive tray. Slides easily into the server and lined up perfectly with the SATA backplane connectors. Really what more can I say? It works perfectly, and I've never had a bit of trouble with it.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I bought this because I wanted to boot my HP MediaSmart Server from an SSD. The server has four fixed size drive trays, designed to accommodate a 3.5" hard disk. Unlike a desktop with movable cables, the MediaSmart Server's backplane has fixed connectors, so I needed a tray that would not only hold the SSD, but line up perfectly with the backplane connectors. This adapter did the trick. I just ordered a couple more, one for my other MediaSmart Server (which now has an SSD) and my desktop, which has an SSD laying loose inside of it.
