good luck overclocking this

Pros: cheap

Cons: unstable in dual channel FSB 400MHz and processor @ 3.8 GHz

Other Thoughts: My motherboard is Gigabyte EP45-UD3R. I overclocked the processor to 3.8 GHz/ 400 MHz FSB. This memory is supposed to work in dual channel at 400 MHz (effective 800 MHz). Unfortunately no matter what setting I chose, it constantly gave blue screens in Windows. Maybe it would work in the hands of a specialist that understands the timing settings of the memory. It's not good for beginners overclockers cause simply default settings won't work.

Probably it works at normal processor speeds @ 3.2 GHz. I haven't tried that cause I need my processor to run faster.

Pros: It works! Pretty blue heatsinks. I've been purchasing Kingston RAM for a few years now, and despite friends trying to get me to switch to Mushkin and Corsair, I'm the kinda person who sticks with what *I* know works. These sticks *do* work. What more can I ask?

Cons: No good combo deals for this memory! But so be it. At this price, one cannot complain too much.

Pros: Easily overclocked this memory to 4-4-4-12 timings @ 2.1V. probably could've gotten away with 2.0V but haven't tested that. Memory ran perfectly stable for 19 days without a break so far at these settings, although these particular sticks have been in my system for over a year. Just recently got a motherboard that allowed overclocking. Been using Kingston for years. The quality is top notch. Have yet to have to RMA/replace a single stick.

Cons: None. Buy this.

Other Thoughts: Overclocking the memory to 4-4-4-12 @ 2.1V did not cause any excessive heat. Laying a finger on the heatspreaders will not burn you or even feel like it's about to. It's warm to the touch. That's all. And i don't have any cooling fans blowing on it at all.

Pros: Fast and Affordable comes to mind with Kingston HyperX Memory. Installed on a Foxconn A7DA-S 2.0v mobo and running Windows Vista Ultimate with no problems. With intergrated video onboard using on-board memory in connection with Kingston 4GB installed, Video memory reads at 2GB. Great for WoW, Crysis and other games. 10 Eggs, 5 for Kingston and 5 for Newegg fast processing of my order.

Cons: It's not 1066 or even 1333 but for the money it's worth the price.
